I appreciate watching this fine gin in action. I worked at an old Murray Gin in Hollywood, MO. It was called Hollywood Gin. I think it was built in the 40's. It ran on two diesel twins. It was converted to two 440 volt 3phase electric motors in 1980. I went from being the moat man in 1978 up to Assistant Ginner over 3 or 4 seasons. I was handicapped & couldn't climb to the top; so that kept me from being Head Ginner.

I've been there a few times. It's close to my b-day. Seeing the Blue bonnets that time of year and the rumble of that engine is amazing! There is plenty of things to do there in that historic town. Truly a worthy "bucket list"

We have an old 1890 cotton Gin at Spechts Store in Bulverde. Much in tact and other in parts. This is a inspiration to me to get the old Engine running and start to assemble to parts. thanks.
