Wow I am from McAllen and had no idea that Gozalez burger existed, on my way!!!

Back a few years ago, my Dad wintered in Donna. He took me a few times to, and Truth, the burgers REALLY are that good. The sisters are pretty too!

I'm from East Texas, now I live in Cali, Texas, Louisiana, Georgia, Oklahoma & most southern states have the best food PERIOD, they put love & care in it take pride in it& I love it.

I've only eaten there twice. The first time I went there was back in 2011. We had a half day at the HS, so a friend and I went there to eat once school was done. I remember ordering the Double Meat Double Cheese Double Bacon burger because I was hungry. What I didn't know was how big the burgers were, and let me tell ya... That thing was H U G E! I had 4 bites and that was it. Wrapped it up, and saved it for later. This place will leave a lasting impression in your mind.

I'm from the valley like 15 minutes away and never heard of this but wow looks better than Whataburger

I was there during my high school years, graduate of '92, and it was called Bertha's Burgers back then.

Grew up on the same street, they used to give me burritos as I was walking home from school. Man I love that place great food right down the street, I used to just walk for a burger hurried home put on a movie a chowed away for the rest of the night, that was a BERTHA Burger day!!!

There is another Gonzales cafe in Victoria Tx. just on the left hand side as cross the Guadalupe river heading towards Goliad Tx. This cafe has the best and largest Chicken fried steaks. you better come hungry.

Gonzalez burgers are delicious. My wife and I go and order a burger with fries and drinks for both of us. We cut the burger in half and can't even finish it because they make them that big.

I'm from the valley (RGV) and have never heard of this place.. I\ll have to check it out now. NOT HATING.. Now you want a good burger?? Dilley TX, Rosa's Burgers.. looks like a shack... I was working there for a week and was told by a crew to check it out.. So good I ate there the last 3 days before coming back.. Best burger I've ever had..

Yes they are the best burgers but you need to go to Nanas restaurant y Weslaco they don't make burgers but it is one of the best restaurants in the Valley
