I’ve watched this video a bunch of times. The more I watch it, the more I’m beginning to like it. The question I have is this. Will the HDX2 retain the rabbit ear mirror that is synonymous with the HDX?

Highly doubtful… as the T3RE has been and continues to be extremely unreliable in its newer years. These at least have the same chassis despite being kinda ugly, and already have several orders in WA

if it was it probably wouldnt be a joint venture between trans tech and thomas. if it never happens the minotrek prototype might become a bus for educational bus transportation in long island since that has commonly happened with trans tech prototypes

It went through last year… Thomas moved the HDX onto the c2 line and changed it up a bit to share some parts. They’re currently not building any HDXs while they put it on the new line

I think the redesign of the rear engine bus looks good but the only thing I don't like is the front end because it looks the same on the top it looks like I got it from the C2 but in the back still the windows are from the C2 but yeah that's my opinion sometimes from like to dislike

It is sad what has happened to the big three school bus manufacturers. Thomas, Blue Bird, and IC all had extremely decent-looking buses up until IC redesigned their CE in response to Navistar's MV redesign, at which point the CE became futuristic and unrecognizable. Much later, Thomas responded with this supposedly unrecognizable version of the HDX. Go back to the moment Thomas executives were debating a redesign for the HDX. Ask them to maintain the previous HDX design as a stand-alone model, and then move forward with a design team that actually knows how to create a well-designed bus. However, if you want to create a bus with a goofy ahh design, start off from scratch and make an entirely new model to observe how it is received. It is for this reason that although it is thought that Thomas was tarnishing bus enthusiasts' perceptions with this new HDX, some people may genuinely grow to at least appreciate this design. That's not to say it also looks comical, which is not what the vast, vast majority want. In summary, this bus is kinda ridiculous.

Man 2025 is going to be an interesting year for school buses a redesigned hdx updated c2 3rd gen ce more news on the byd achiever probably more news on the byd Creator probably and probably more news on the byd dreamer and hopefully more news / production on pegusus
