Kevin did not drop because City took the approach of 2 man infront where Trent and Robert leave the space where Klopp already outsmart by putting Trent not going infront instead keep him in defensive line and cross to change the side line or pass forward. Which Trent Cross to Robertson and Robertson also as usual cross so accurately that lead the Goal. Kevin not Dropping deep is reasonable but it will take time to come back infront too , you can't cover that much space in an instant. Tactical Klopp won and one man is always free in all transactions.

Great Job. I think City played better overall. But they were impatient, stupid, and a bit arrogant as always. They needed to win for the ranking so they played really wide from the start. Klopp knew that and Liverpool smartly played with defense and fast counterattacks. Liverpool was a bit lucky to score 3 goals, I think a draw or a 2-1 would have been more fair. City needs to stop claiming penalties every game and really put a bit more heart in what they do. I'm not a city fan, neither liverpool, but city deserved a bit more. Guardiola, when he does not complain, is masterclass.

I don't think there was no difference between liverpool and city in this game. City were largely outclassed. City had more shots and were shooting wildly. The only clear chance they had was a tap in for aguero.
