The play was 500 iq but it also took insane atheltism to change direction and get to the ball in time for the pick. He was the perfect safety

This is what people don't understand about real ball. You can KNOW everything about what they might do, but to actually be able to sell a fake zone with your whole body and then to turn your hips AGAIN to break on a ball and beat the all-pro WR to his spot. It's just...it's freaking incredible from Ed Reed man.

Ed Reeds football acumen was off the charts good. His feel for the game was second to none . I loved watching him play. His game preparation was pro bowl level each week. Great football player with a greater football mind .

I agree. Ed Reed is the best ball hawk in the history of football, and he was a damn good hitter even if you could argue that Troy hit a bit harder. Ed Reed, like Belichick said, could've made the hall of fame solely because of his ability to block punts. You were a fucking dumbass if you threw it deep to Ed's side of the field.

Weird thing about Belichick and Brady was that they struggled like hell against the Manning QB’s in the playoffs. They went 2-3 against Peyton and 0-2 against Eli. 2-5 overall. If not for the Mannings they probably win 10 or more Superbowls.

That was a beautiful play all around. Ed Reed making the read and getting there for the interception, and then on the flip side if Ed Reed DIDN'T make it there, that was a beautiful ball by Manning, and a great route ran by Wayne.

I don’t think ppl quite understand how amazing it is to look back at your games. You really do learn a lot about how your opponents move and their weaknesses and strengths. You can learn to predict their every move.
