Lmao! That's what i say when they say that smaller players guard MJ. I am like, it doesnt matter who guards him. Smaller might be even more effective as they can match MJ's quickness. The taller they get, the slower they become. And for a 6'6. MJ is quick for his size.

MJ individually dominanted in the 80s and 90s...Wizard MJ at 38-40 yrs old was capable of 30, 40 and 50 point games in the Kobe, Shaq, Iverson, Carter and Tmac era...in his prime MJ was the perfect balance of skill...experience and athleticism....definitely unstoppable in any era ...no comparison...period

I watched every game cause I always felt id miss something if I didn't watch. I was such a huge fan. I grew up there too so in the playoffs friends would have parties for every game. Was a lot of fun. I went to a few playoff games also. Quick story: 97 Finals game 6 a friend was having a party for it, a good friend. So i left the house around 5 pm and went there. I was 19 and still living at home. My father comes home from work at 5-5:15pm everyday. So I just missed him. When I came home at like 5 am cause they won the title and city was partying so I was out all night, I see 2 ticket stubs on the kitchen counter. My father had gotten 2 tickets and planned to take me. But because I wasn't home he took my brother. Of course I was happy they went and got to experience it but damn was I also mad as hell that I left the house early that day. That game 6 was the Steve Kerr shot game. A person usually doesn't have many chances to go to a game where their hometown teams wins the title. Sadly I missed my chance and probably won't have another in my lifetime 😢🤷‍♂

So a forward plays closer to the rim and is naturally going to get more rebounds than a guard. You know how I know? Bc MJ ranks #1 among shooting guards all time in defensive per game rebounds while Lebron ranks 3rd among small forwards. But when position doesn’t matter, aka on offense, MJ ranks eighth all time among shooting guards while I couldn’t find Lebron’s ranking bc he’s not even in the top 50. As a matter of fact, as of Sept 2023, Michael Jordan has more career offensive rebounds than Lebron despite having played 350 less games. So Lebron activists really need to actually do their research before they start making assumptions about things and making accusations that project the exact very thing they are doing. I almost forgot, Lebron’s defense was the reason Golden State was even in that Game 7. Despite Lebron’s triple double, he had 5 turnovers and his man scored 32pts shooting 78% while he scored 27pts shooting 38% from the field. Meanwhile Kyrie outplayed and outscored the reigning MVP AND was the one who broke the scoring drought and sealed the game. And if you want to act like winning a ring in two conferences is more difficult than winning two 3peats only the Lord himself can help you at this point

Uh huh. There were rivalry games, playoff games, finals games, "revenge" games all mixed in. I'll mention when these casuals and haters do reactions to Jordan's KZfaq library, they'll always say about the switch hands layup against LA in the finals that it was "unnecessary" or "he coulda dunked that". Even if they deemed it unnecessary, which it wasn't because if you know MJ, he's thinking ahead. He said he "saw long armed Sam Perkins there" and thought Sam would attempt to block it but he never did. Jordan was so instinctive that he switched hands to avoid Sam. It's not like watching Jordan games or highlights that he wasn't doing that stuff all the time so I never understood the hate on that move. Plus these fools have no idea or they forgot that the layup was Jordan's 13th consecutive fg made...in the finals. Not some regular season game against the Kings in February. Who was/is doing this shit besides Mike?!?!

Gerald Wilkins had his best years as a Knick, I remember because as a Knick fan we all knew we had the wrong Wilkins, but he did ok for about 5 years he was starting SG for the Knicks.

1991 is what I've settled on as APEX Jordan. But you make a compelling point about 93. I'd never thought about it like this before, but his accommodating to the injured wrist does add an interesting element to his game. The adjustment to his game sort of draws out from his play a VERY unique and beautiful aesthetic. The footage in this video, in light of your comment, really is very eye popping. for me Jordan is the best not because of stats or rings, that's all secondary if not irrelevant: for me, he's the best purely for aesthetic considerations. I enjoy watching his missed shots as much as his makes. Anyway, interesting perspective. I've watched more MJ highlights over the years than I frankly care to admit... but your take on this is something I'd never considered. Turns out YT comments aren't always a wasteland! Heh. Cool.
