The Rockstar Freddy Rescue news segment was honestly wholesome

I remember seeing something fnaf related on one of my local news stations. It was back in 2016 during the creepy clown incidents happening around the world. The news channel was interviewing someone who runs a costume shop and in the background there was a chica mask.

My daughter watched CNN10 in primary school, and remembers the Freddy plush segment. She actually spoke really highly of CNN10, and that particular presenter always had a good attitude and seemingly high amount of effort into his segments. Imagine how easily it would be to phone in, or be jaded about going to broadcasting school, working your way up through the ranks at CNN, and then being put on the subsidized broadcast that only goes to home room classes. He could have not given a shit. But he tried. So I can respect that. She said the new guy is boring and bald. And we can’t forgive baldness.

I remember that in the early days of FNaF, there was a time when a Chilean National News program called TVN started ranting about FNaF and it was such a controversy in the country because they where using SFM videos as reference to show that the game could cause traumas to kids and other crazy stuff. It would be cool if you make another episode talking about FNaF in worldwide TV.

Funfact: there was a Latin American program called "ToonTubers", which was just about Mordecai and Rigby from Regular Show being youtubers, the serie started on the cartoon network youtube channel but then started being broadcasted on TV too, there was diffrent 3 fnaf episodes that were on TV, about sister location, UCN and fnaf vr There was also some episodes about fnaf 1-4 but I never saw these in particular on tv

The 2014-2015 FNaF fandom was truly like the wild west. I was like 8 years old but even I never went to the lengths some of these other early FNaF fans did. I do remember making a fake video about Freddy Fazbear's Pizza being a real place that shut down in the early 90s with (fake) "evidence", but I never called a random pizza place asking if they were the real Freddy Fazbear's.

I never thought I'd see the day that a news report drops where a plushie of Rockstar Freddy from Five Nights at Freddy's: Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria Simulator is saved by an actual, living firefighter after being thrown onto a roof, and the news anchor starts rapping after the story. Truly a moment of all time.

Ahhh I remember hearing about a similar incident to the pizza place being called because of the name. One time, on Scott's website for fnaf where he'd show teasers and stuff, at one point if you inspected the site you'd find numbers (of course) and diehard theorists and lore searchers took some of the numbers and thought they were coordinates and when ran through Google Earth, it coincidentally led to a pizzeria and people started calling the pizzeria and asking about the lore of fnaf and it got so bad that Scott had to tell people to stop or something like that
