Elvis played people to get what he wanted. I love the Elvis but he had faults too. Its beat to tell Ginger of the wedding of the century & then turn around and tell some of the guys that he would never marry into that family. Even Billy said that Elvis would say things he did not mean to get a girl to stick around until he replaced them. Thats not a nice guy. He also said he would call them & then just disappear using the MM as a defensive wall.

Vernon sent Dee away in 1974 and divorced her in 1978. She was replaced by Sandy Miller, a nurse. Dee Stanley wrote a very negative book about Elvis Presley, who provided during 15 years provided for her luxurious life. Dee even made Elvis responsible for her divorce from Vernon.

Lady Anderson, you are sooooooo right ! So sad that the women there Dee came in to Elvis's life marrying Vernon. Vernon did a grande big misstake marrying that women. Just look at her even there sitting like a Queen gosh, it makes me feel really angry wathing that women. Who does she think she is................she is nobody ! OK, she gave birth to 2 sons and being a mom but wow, so sad that Elvis got that women to be ok his dad Vernon's wife wow. Elvis did have to put up with a lot of shit and Zilla is another one gosh...........................Ok, I could go on and on but ok, it is all in the past now but we are glad that Elvis did live and made a life for himself and good music and movies for us to watch. The interviewer made a question: How did you come to know the Presley family, you were in Germany in that time? Dee Stanley Presley’s answer was about how she did come to know Vernon Presley, after she had spoken on the phone with her idol Elvis Presley. The insinuation of Mrs. Dee in this interview is that Vernon Presley was really Elvis Presley. She is telling that she met for a coffee with Vernon, she felt in love with him, and she didn’t mention Elvis at all during her love storytelling. But, Dee Stanley was a big fan of Elvis Presley, so when she decided to be married to Vernon Presley she wanted the approval of Elvis Presley too. In other words, Dee became also Priscilla Presley. Dee and Vernon got married, they lived in Graceland for a year, then they left forever to live to another house, because Elvis Presley sang a song, “She is not you”. In another interview, Dee Stanley Presley said that her husband Vernon told her that Elvis Presley slept with his mother, which means that Vernon Presley, which was also Elvis Presley, never stopped loving his previous wife, Gladys Presley. Then, she got the divorce from a marriage without a conception of a child. Dee StanleyPresley was hated from Elvis Presley’s fans because they didn’t understand what she really said in that interview. However, if Dee Stanley is alive, I want to ask her: How was she sure that she was dealing with the real Presley family?

It wasn't her choice to move out! She was jealous of everything that Elvis had. She even decorated her house like the decor at Graceland, red drapes and all! Elvis accepted the Stanley boys but never Dee! Ricky was on drugs and was bringing them into Elvis. He's throwing Dr Nick under the bus, but one of the Stanley brothers was flying out of state and picking up prescriptions from other Drs and bringing them into Elvis. One of them was on duty the night Elvis died and gave him all the packets of drugs that Elvis wanted. Dr Nick and his live in nurse had Elvis on a scheduled protocol for his medication so that he Couldn't take too much! All the Mafia guys said Elvis was alot better when Dr Nick was on your with him. As far as Elvis being jealous of Dee that's Bull! He knew she was a golddigger.

Tom appears to misspeak. He probably meant Elvis' 45th, not 40th, birthday. The book tour for these awful people was in 1980. Definitely not 1976.

The description says this interview is from 1976. I believe it is from 1986, Elvis's 50tj birthday. Elvis passed in 1977 at 42 years old.

Also beginning near the fall of '80 till going off air , they had a live audience in the studio (which Tom Snyder never wanted). I grew up watching this show which aired from 1973-82 . *My "educated" guess would be this show aired sometime in late '79 or early 1980

I was bought up very strict you know.......sure, OK. This woman was four years Elvis senior (at 29yr) and when he showed no interest in her she set her sights on EP's Dad, Vernon. I read that Dee was initially after Elvis to have an affair and this was said by the Memphis Mafia. Elvis sent Vernon his father to dinner and he ended up dating her. Elvis was fit to be tied from what the Memphis Mafia stated in books. When in Elvis's rental house in Germany, Dee would have sex while everyone was hanging out in the house and her and Vernon were alone in one of the rooms together. In the book "Revelations From The Memphis Mafia," they said Dee would be in Vernon's bedroom having sex, screaming and carrying on. Elvis, and the guys would here everything going on and he was so embarrassed turning all kinds of shades of red. Another reason they said Elvis didn't care to much for Dee. Dee greatly stretched the truth here, Elvis bought another house for his dad because he didn't want Dee messing with anything or changing things or in his mother's bedroom with Vernon. Dee, was not truthful about her real intentions and left her husband to be with he Presley's, not by accident she ended up with Vernon, she planned it all. I would have liked to here Mr. Stanley's side of the story, especially since she took off with his very young sons at the time.

Could anyone even survive 6 months let alone sing on stage taking about 107 pills a day which is the equivalent of 20000 pills in that time? I’m no medical expert but it seem incredible to me. My instinct is that exaggeration is employed.

Several people have said Elvis had 3 envelopes per day with 30 pills each in them given to him at certain times. They were labeled Attack 1, 2 & 3. How long this went on at that amount I couldn't say. Just what I've heard.

That women is a liar I am an Elvis Historian I feel sorry for those boys cause they were the ones getting prescriptions in there name and giving them to Elvis Red west punched one of them for getting Elvis those pills Elvis heard about it and it was a big fight plus one of them had a problem with a girl on tour the Police in that town on there tour wanted to keep one in town for questioning but Elvis took care of that Actually Vernon Presley accused David of giving Elvis to many pills and thar he basically killed his Son Vernon hired a Police officer to find out who was giving or getting prescription to Elvis behind Doctor Nick back the last year the nurse that lived there monitored the pills as best she could they tried but Elvis got so mad he fired too of his body guards and said he buy a pharmacy that he needed the pills he actually od 3 times and once was bad he had to rest at hospital they said for 3 weeks so they tried to control the issue the reason Doctor Nick came on tour cause the time he didnt Elvis couldn't finish the tour it was bad I feel sorry Elvis was a Special Person who was someone we will never see the likes of As David Stanley said I quote it " Nobody said no to Elvis Presley " And that Dee Elvis was upset with Vernon cause his Mom died and Vernon was right into a marriage not to long after and Dee wrote her last book saying stupid lies that Elvis and his mother had inappropriate relationship yes that's true she was on a talk show saying that and Joe Esposito was on there blasting her and sayimg that's a lie and JD Sumner was on there saying the same both men actually telling her off Sick lady I hope she burns in Hell.how dare her turn on Elvis and lie about Elvis let alone say horrible things .I just had to write this I will defend Elvis the problem people forgot he was human being they thought he could walk on water. Airing date could be questionable. As the host states Elvis' 40th birthday, this makes it January 1975? If he'd meant to say 50th anniversary, then this makes it January 1985. But I doubt Dee would have given this interview before Elvis' death in 1977.

she tried to be with elvis but elvis dont like older woman!! she said some disgraceful things about elvis and gladys this is what happened she left her husband to be with vernon.... one day the father of her sons came to graceland just to tell his sons that no matter what happened with im and thier mother he will always love them he then gave each of the boys a kiss and left crying that what one of the sons remembers. elvis did treat her sons like his little brothers but he did not like their mother one of her sons held this against her he said he was not happy without his real dad and ask him mom why did she leave their father

It's interesting that she's not really depicted in the Elvis biopics. She's briefly mentioned in the 2005 one but it's almost implied that Vernon was just having a fling with a married woman.
