Hey everybody! Thanks for watching this video, "The Top 10 Bad Songs on Great Albums". This is an idea that's been suggested to me a lot, and I'm finally making it! It's a really interesting concept. An artist/musician makes this great, critically acclaimed, beloved album...but there's one song on there that most people can't stand. Maybe it's a stupid idea that should've never been executed, or the band is trying to experiment, or anything in between. Check it out and let me know what you think!

Yeah i challenged myself to listen to it 10 times on the first day of its release and i hated it for the first 7 @8 listens until i started to vibe and i got stuck with it for months. Some may say John Lennon tried to do the same with communism and since then a lot of people have associated "Imagine" being a peace track regardless of ideology because it was John Lennon though his intention was really radical. What I see of The Smiths is them wanting to openly preach an ideology without being subtle about it on their album title exposed explicitly on their final song, and later on the guy supports BNP, UKIP or whatever... Cancel him now.

I agree, and The white album has several musical sides to it. The serious soungs - the famous ones he mentions. Then the sillier songs about animals (Why don't we do it in the road is hardly in the same caliber as the serious ones) and then the experimental tracks like Wild honey pie och Revolution no 9. But that's why it's such an intresting record!

@@maxlove8894 For some people i can understand. It's perhaps their most difficult track and isn't necessarily meant to be listened to in the same way as a song like Blackbird. For Endless Nameless, as a song, I don’t really like it but the backstory behind it is what makes it better for me. Endless Nameless was the result of an outtake for Lithium. Kurt was getting pissed off that they couldn’t get the song right and kept on messing it up. He eventually got so mad that the band just started to raise chaos out of anger during an outtake, which would end up becoming Endless Nameless. Kurt thought it was cool when he listened to the recording afterwards, so he decided to make it a hidden track

There are plenty of full-length well produced songs on that album, and so I don't see what the problem is with having a 50 sec long track where they're just messing around. Number of the Beast by Iron Maiden is one of the greatest metal albums of all time. But it’s held back by “Invaders”, the opening track. The verses are fine, but the chorus is one of the most grating things you’ll ever hear. Bruce Dickinson yelp “INVADERS” as high as he can, and just listing off violent acts. This album has my favorite Maiden song of all time (22 Acacia Avenue), but because of Invaders, I can’t consider this Maiden’s best album (that being Powerslave, in itself a top 5 metal album of all time).

He even played a phone interview he did with him. He spoke of the song number nine and how manson saw that song in particular as a call to action. He then played it to us. I was amazed. It wasn't particularly musical but it was different. I didn't think this could ever be from the wanna hold your hand and long days night band. I didn't even know the Beatles made the kind of music they did until they released that number 1 album. Most of those songs I never heard before and liked. Now it's like. The Beatles? Of course an influence. But a kid in the 80s only heard their first songs and that was it
