My baby sister died because the doctor at the hospital she was taken to refused to transfer her to another hospital, (Hospital for Sick Children, or, as it's more commonly known, Sick Kids', which is one of the highest regarded pediatric hospitals in the world,) even when my parents insisted on it, and even when he did allow it, they sent her by ambulance instead of helicoptor and she died on the way there.
