I rarely comment on videos, but I just wanted to say thank you for sharing your journey with us. I remember watching you years ago, when I was just trying to muster up the grit to make it past day one. I watched you religiously, for both entertainment and inspiration, then you seemingly vanished. I remember I may have seen you either like or comment on something from your instagram and reassuring a viewer from my old KZfaq channel that you were ok, just probably taking a break. And then you came back last year with one of the most vulnerable and straight from the heart videos that I have ever seen on KZfaq. And now you’re right back in the game like you never left and looking damn good too! So here I am again. Back at day one. I am a short king too at 5’6”, but I have a lot more to lose than you. I am 260 pounds. Heaviest weight being 276. I’m gonna commit to doing rolling 96’s until I reach my goal weight. But I just wanted to really say thank you for the motivation and inspiration. And I’ll probably write another comment a few months from now about my progress. Good luck and I look forward to see what your maintenance journey looks like!

I started omad on Jan 8th. It's been going on and off, sometimes I'll do it well for a week or two, then I'll have a cheat day and it'll get out of control for a few days and once again I'll start omad. It's been going like that since I started, but I did manage to lose about 10-12kg. Last night I planned to do a 96hr fast. But I just couldn't continue after 20hr. I just broke my fast and binged on chocolates. It's not that I can't do a fast, I can and I have done it, but with snacks and other stuff being at home, I keep losing control. I started my fasting time about an hour ago, this time I'm hoping for 24hrs, from then onwards we'll see if I can turn it into a 48hr.

I have to restrict certian foods otherwise I would gain all my weight and then some. I intermitet fast and try to eat clean and I'm primarily carnivore although I will eat avocado but not nuts. Fruits and starchy vegetables are very limited close to zero. I've gained it all back before and it was harder to lose it all over again but I managed. I admire your effort, Jerome. Great advice. The most important thing to remember is fasting is not a diet it’s a way of life, putting distance in time between meals so your body can burn fat and recycle bad cells that it needs to get rid of. Eat less sugar and carbs and don’t cheat as you’ll only be cheating yourself, if you don’t but junk and bring it home then you won’t be tempted to eat it. You’re worth it and you can do it. I started 16:8 two weeks ago, down 7lbs and looking forward to losing 15 more to get to my goal. Let’s do this! 💪🏼

I do OMAD and work hard at the gym. I try to get close to 20k steps along with my strength training. I was so tired of the yoyo/fad diets. I eat what I want within that one hour time window, then stop. It works for me because I am an overeater. If I eat 6 small meals chances are, I will eat more than that along with binging on my rest days, driving myself crazy. Now I can eat what I want and have a peace of mind. No turning back. This also helps me to have control over the food rather than the food having control over me

Hey Jerome! I took your advice and started on 29th February (not March 1st haha). I did 50+h and 90h fast and ate A LOT in my refeeding windows. Normally I would throw everything away and call it a failure. Give up. Because what's the point if Im not restricting and I didn't hit my fasting goals (72h, 96h). But this time I just continued to do my thing and tried not to think like it's a bad thing. Because of that Im on my 3rd fast, feel energized and I lost weight already.Thank you so much!!

I’m with you on this. I’ve been doing the same thing. Normally, I would make up all these rules about what I can and can’t eat, but I’ve been fasting and then eating (sometimes keto, sometimes not) and then just keep going, without all the guilt. I think the guilt does more harm than anything else.

I mean no disrespect, and it may be hard for you to believe, but there are many people who use the words that you consider “taking the Lord’s name in vain,” but they do not. If you don’t want to do this, then don’t, but stop pushing your beliefs on other people. The whole U.S. is being destroyed by religious freaks who seem to think they know what’s best for everyone and trying to shove it down people’s throats with getting rid of Roe v Wade and with book bans, etc. Guess what?
