Started a water fast 9 days ago without coming across your channel. First 3 days were difficult but pulled through by adding zero sugar electrolytes to my water. Day 10 tomorrow but after watching this video I will transform to your method. Thank you for explaining it so thoroughly and for basically giving us the blue print to success. If I can do a 10 day fast relatively easy I definitely can do this 4 day fast with the 3-4 hour window to eat on the fifth day. Rinse and repeat after that. Nine days ago I was at a WHOPPING 298 lbs but I weighed myself today and the scale said 288.7! That along with this video has inspired me to continue forward with an absolute solid plan. If you're starting your journey like me please know that everything FF is saying is the facts/ truth and we CAN DO THIS! Also know that motivation fades quickly so you'll definitely need discipline, will power, and dedication but we got this. My goal is 175lbs when I was in the best shape of my life so I'll check back in three months to see where I'm at. Thanks again Mr. FF!

Sleeping early is a great strategy while fasting. The body does so much work and repair while you are sleeping. Also… most of us already don’t sleep nearly enough. The couple of hours of more sleep really helps. And helps your mood the next day. I think it makes it easier to resist emotional eating because your body and mind aren’t tired.

True. When I’m tired, all I want is junk food.

I'm starting a fast today until the 31st and breaking on the 1st of the year. I am used to fasting, so I think I will be ok. Thank you for your tips. They definitely help a lot! I find it is beneficial to set goals for myself. My goal is to get into the low 130's by the end of December. By the end of January, I am aiming for the mid 120's.

Well done for continuing. It takes courage to be vulnerable and say this happened, I learned from it and I'm moving forward. We are all on a journey anyway. It's not a sprint. For me praying and journaling helps me. Also weighing everyday keeps me on the straight and narrow. Im starting to see now that weighing every day is not a punishment, it's important information to see if what I'm doing works or doesn't work. I do follow some guidelines though. Like going to the bathroom first, weighing first thing in the morning and weighing at the same time everyday. The human body is an amazing spiritual machine. It knows what to do. Just need to allow it to do that. I enjoy fasting. For me it's my bottom line. Everything else falls into place as long as I carry on fasting everyday. I never thought I could fast. One has to build up the fasting muscle though. The most I've done is a 3 day fast. Was so proud of getting through that. The 2nd day in the afternoon seems to be the hardest. Like Dr Jason Fung says hunger decreases as you continue to fast. Do you think it's healthy for women to do rolling fasts? Also, is it harder for you to fast in cold weather with all the comfort foods around? I find that diet coldrinks on their own trigger me to want to eat carbs and sugar, it's been proved that the body sees it as a sweet taste and it spikes insulin, even though it's artificial sweetners, then I start getting hungry on my fast and want to eat. Sparkling water helps me a lot. It was a nice surprise to see your you tube video pop up again. I think you look thin now. I was smiling when you said you like to watch people eat. I do too. It's cathartic and a stress release for me. It doesn't make me hungry and doesn't make me eat more. Have a lovely and blessed day. Keep going. All will be well.

God is so good, I cannot believe I haven't seen your channel before 😮 I am in awe 😳 every single thing you said is me, I just started fasting on Feb 29th 8pm. 61 hrs in no food. My husband's birthday is April 17th I want to look good for him and myself of course. I fasted 3 weeks before great results. But went crazy on re feed, low points in my life. But God. Anyway in my mind I'm like will I get out the 190's I got up to 225 at one point got to 195 and pass there and lost the momentum. I've been watching video after video and up you popped. I hide behind my clothes don't want to go out with friends and so on. I visited a friend out of town Saturday she looked at me and said I've never seen you so big 😢that was the trigger so I'm 61 hrs in this morning I weighed in the 26th at 215.8 this morning I'm at 209. I want to be 130. I'm going to follow along your channel until I get there. I'm going to try to fast through to April 1st, drinking water and lemon. Tea mix of Green tea lemons ashwanga, turmeric, peppermint, Sorrell, ginger cloves all in one sitting. My joints all over my body was killing me, not sleeping well, late to work and church all the time. Sweats craziness. My husband is slim and sexy. I'm a fat slob. But after watching you. I think I can do this By watching your videos to cheer me along. watched your videos this morning with my husband from 1am amazed all the things you talk about is me. Start this day finish this food then start and I told myself the food will always be there. And you made the very comment in one of your videos. I almost ate after I cooked dinner for my husband last night.😮talked my way out of it after looking at my fasting app😅 That was close. Went in my room bindged watch fasting videos till you showed up. You get it!!!! I got down to 160 once 6 miles 3-4 times a week. Couldn't hold on to it, emotional eater! That's a problem. Looking after elderly parents, work, sick husband home my number 1 cheer leader. Thank God for him, like you always telling me consistency and lifestyle changes 🙏 God bless you I will pray myself through and thank you for putting yourself out there your saving lives! Great testimonial. Will pray for you at church today 🙏. . Sorry for the Novel, I'm so moved. Port st lucie Florida is my hometown.

Yes. This SO resonates with me. I’ve done many fasts. Getting through the first day is usually the hardest part for me. I love the results I get with fasting, but keeping them is a challenge. It helps to tell myself that , whatever I’m craving will be available to me at the end of the fast. I think that’s the best thing about your fasts. Every time you break the fast you can have a “ reward” day. This, I think, turns out to be more satisfying than little, GUILTY , treats daily. Another thing that helps me, as well, is getting out of the house, essentially, getting away from the food temptation. People who don’t want to exercise can go to places they’ve thought about visiting , like museums or sightseeing areas; the library is a GREAT place to kill time. You can read magazines( I read food magazines..oddly, they don’t make me hungry; kind of calming, really), watch videos work or play on the computer. I think most of us know how fast the time gets away. Before you know it you’ve made it through the day… Day one down! Go to bed. Rise, empowered to make it through Day 2… Good luck to everyone , but you don’t need luck you have everything you need…🤷🏽♀️ Thank you “ Fasting Master” for your content and encouragement. Appreciate you!❤

Sardine fasting is how I can do extended fasting as a cycling woman. I get into deep ketosis without stressing my body and negatively affecting my hormones!
@JFM.20246 ай бұрын
interesting. I'm a woman too and my period stopping is a concern of mine but I love extended fasts.. how much sardines do you put in during a fast? Or do you them eat intuitively? I actually love sardines!
@whatdoyoulivefor7356 ай бұрын
@@JFM.2024 I eat them intuitively! Usually I start out eating 5-7 cans on the first day, but as my appetite drastically diminishes by the second day, I may have only 3, next day I can stomach about 2, then I'm down to 1 or none. But this all depends where I'm at in my cycle. If I'm in the third week I may need a lot more, but how many cans you have does not affect how deeply you can get into ketosis! Last week I did this and within three days my ketones were at 4.5 mmol!! I still have 18% cream in my coffee and milk on my tea, too.
