'I read so you don't have to' is the concept behind what will (hopefully) become a new series on the channel. Ironically, it does start with book recommendations, but this is because I've been asked for them so much!
I 'd love to start talking more about the specifics in the books I've read - maybe a summary, review of a book, or even a single concept in a book.
I'd never discourage reading, but sometimes, it's better to get the information from somewhere if you don't have the time to get around to reading the whole thing (I often take this approach too).

With every new video of yours I watch, I feel like I can add an interpretational layer to your closing comment “and don’t believe everything you think”. Beautifully simple and accurate. Humble, yet full of ambition (to learn). An invitation to think more (critically) as much as it is a reminder to not “overthink” (or at least, not take those thoughts too seriously). I hope you stick with it. Seeing how you think and how you approach problems and choices has been an inspiration. One to look at every problem and seeing how it applies to me and I to it, instead of trying to follow formulas written for other people. Thank you wholeheartedly for sharing.

The geanelogy moral is also one of my favorites books! And quite justificate the self-comprehension of the author: "I am dynamite"!

I don’t think I’ve ever been this happy to see someone recommend a Virginia Woolf novel. She’s my absolutely favorite writer. I would also recommend Mrs Dalloway, as it touches on correlated themes that were dealt with at To The Lighthouse. The Waves, however, is one of her more experimental books, and its so thought provoking in its structure that I name it a novel equivalent of a physics book, lol

Very good; Enough said to give the desire to read; not too much said to avoid spoiling the inclination to search.

Great recommendations, thank you! If you're into existentialist themes in narrative form, I totally recommend William Golding's novel 'Pincher Martin' - very apposite for our times of isolation, and with some Nietzschean motifs too. But if you really like Nietzsche, then you can't miss out on having a look at Schopenhauer's work, another old crank who inspired many of Nietzsche's ideas (and reactions), and who had a superb pen I should add. Sign me up for that Nietzsche book club!
