The issue with Jarvan's W is that in theory and mechanically it's not even a bad ability, it's just a numbers problem. It would be a lot better if it hadn't been nerfed so many times that it started to date Aurelion Sol since they both spend so much time in the same section of the patch notes together

It's not bad as a large aoe slow, but... That's about it. :D The shield has saved my life sometimes, but generally, yeah, it's just a nice slow for early ganks

It's much like Sions W but it slows. Problem is if either of them go full AD they oneshot everyone with a shield that negates to much damage if you would buff it

@@altide8784 you talking about j4AP season 4 and earlier but they took his damage potential with w out. It's balanced but they forgot how hard the nerf hammer was, as example just look on Tam or sett even kled. Sure they are annoying to deal with but they cant do shit with that shield if you use given items ( the chance is low you see those 3 thou)

J4 seems to be quite balanced imo, just not currently in the meta, but i'd say it would be nice if they made his w shield actually meaningful. Like, some abilities have downscaling depending on the amount of hits (heimer rockets deal less dmg if they hit a single enemy multiple times) - maybe upscale j4 shield instead? To make his clear as healthy as it is, to make 1v1 trades not so obnoxious as they were, but to actually make that skill meaningful when engaging multiple enemies at once (like cmon, 250-400 shield late game is equal to 1 random skill or autoattack..)

I main Jarvan in wild rift and I think it´s ok. It is enough to stay healthy while clearing jungle and in combat you usually use it just for the slow. His main power is that when he engages, he knocks ppl up, he shreds their armour, buffs attack speed for allies and locks people in crater. His flag also has passive that gives him a lot of attack speed while giving even more attack speed when flag is placed. It´s ok that his remaining ability is hot garbage. What is not ok is that Rito immediatelly nerfed him when people started to regularly pick him in baron lane. What´s wrong about that Rito?

my friend was a kog'maw main. He's always described the champion as "When you die you get to tickle your opponents balls a little if you can stay close for 4 seconds"

Finally someone mentions Kog'maw's bullshit passive. I sincerely hope with the Void event they change his passive because the one we have right now seriously does not fit his kit at all.

@Edwin Juengel a passive is meant to define how you play kog maws passive tells you to play risky and make hard plays which is not how you play him he’s a late game hyper carry like vayne.the only time people get killed by it is if they forget that he has that passive generally the adc wants to die last so you can’t agrue nautilus cced the adc so we trade also it isn’t nearly as good as sion who can clear his wave easily

I recently played Kog and asked myself that question. It's just a worse Sion passive. If you're playing right, it would never be used and if you use it right it does nothing.

Actually it is a better sion passive. Sion's passive has a bit too much of channel time. Your health is quickly draining away and if you get cc'd for 0.5s you're not doing anything any more. Kog doesn't have that issue. Also, Sion's passive past lv 16 is pretty much only good for damaging structures or finishing last hit on an immobile opponent, kog at least has some damage on it. Kog also moves faster in his passive for the most part. But hey, both passives mostly suck when chemtech drake exists

It's pretty simple: First because it's for laning, the most important part for Kogs. Second, because if it was anything else, kog would be broken. Lulu and Kog is a viable and broken competitive combo, because increasing Kog base status break the game, which is why his passive is meant to be useless in anything else other than cheesing kills.

@@belivuk2526 Sion's passive is significantly better than Kog's because you can use Prower's Claw during it and with Phase Rush you kill anything remotely squishy from 70%. It is also a SIGNIFICANTLY better zoning tool in teamfights than Kogs because it CAN'T be ignored. Kogmaw at level 18 (on an ADC btw) does 550 damage. Wooooo that's like 1/3 of someone's health and you can literally ignore it for a majority of the duration and dash last second.

@@amethonys2798 I don't think you've played Sion all too much. Sion's passive is extremely ignorable. He deals an alright-ish amount of damage with it and can boost his speed, true, but phase rush? Honestly, if you didn't get it off during the fight, how did you miss all of your abilities? Claw? Sure, but that means they didn't get out of your range while your passive has channeled. You can maximize your damage and say deal 700-800 to a single target in a teamfight, while Kog deals 550 aoe. Say you hit 2 people and you've already outdamaged Sion and by a fair amount. Also, as I've said, Sion can be cc'd while his passive is active and even a slight cc like 0.5s is enough for all enemies to run away from you. Kog cc also makes your team scatter a bit to minimise the damage output cause hitting 5 people is 2750 damage. Sion meanwhile has no time to kill a full hp enemy after lv 10 even under your turret due to his health drain, granted he wasn't cc'd in the 1st place or the enemy didn't casually dash away while you channel the revive. Next, Kog's passive will usually get off if an assassin jumps on you or someone dives you, granted you play well. For dives, it should guarantee you revenge on at least one person most of the times and for the assassins...they are low hp, dealing 550 damage to them is not a small deal while sion doing 800 damage to a tank or a bruiser is a joke. Even adc's have tools to escape Sion's passive. Sion's passive is a good early game counter to pressure and a turret smasher and Kog's is the better early game counter pressure and a teamfight tool to fix your mistake

@@83cuicui it's very rare to land it on more than one person since it's small and detonates on touch. And building AP on Rakan is suboptimal and you never do it unless it's a casual game mode

@@mifigor1935 AP Rakan mid used to be meta a while ago. Rakan actually had very good AP scalings and people underestimated how much dmg full AP Rakan could do. It got hard nerfed so AP Rakan mid is just a meme now.

it can be activated on epic monsters for a teamwide heal. In Wild Rift it is common to build him AP or like an enchanter. It' almost troll to go tank even. Though he had a minor rework there, like Q quite drastically increasing its range with levels

Bro easy fix for kogmaw that I think would be funny is this; • His passive dmg scales off of the dmg he took in the last 1-2 seconds before death • His passive move speed scales off attack speed • He can choose when he wants to explode, max time before explosion being the current kog passive duration. With these change I feel like the poor kogmaw that gets instantly popped by an assassin can actually get retaliation as intended. I feel like the point of his passive is a assassin payback mechanic or a deterent to closing the gap with him, with this I feel like it would get that point across way better than the kiss kog gives his foes currently.

This ability is the only reason I dont play him anymore. I mean I would appreciate it more if it wouldnt be that hard to use optimally. And here is why: Like why cant I simply grant all xp instead of only to the next rank up? If I dont give away all xp, why does it go on full cd? A percentage reduction based on how much was left over would be fitting. If we dont have any of the before mentioned, why cant I even see how much xp I can give to whot? The amount of times I have hundreds of xp saved up and only give away a miniskule amount like 20 is depressing. I swear I once got over 1000 saved up before the first one hit lvl 18.

I appreciate the recognition of exactly how bad Teemo W is. To add insult to injury "nearsighted" for Graves actually prevents players from seeing, lasts longer, and is aoe. While blind.... doesn't even prevent obvious things like Xayah feathers or Gangplank Q. If it doesn't actually cause a vision loss like nearsighted then it should at least work on targeted abilities as well.

I agree with everything except zileans passive. It is extremely strong in about half of scenarios. People need to stop mindlessly giving there adc or lowest level teammate exp. Save your exp. Give it to the 3/0 toppaner, midlander, or jungler and watch them wreck face even harder with 55-99% more movespeed and a revival.

Rakan Q deserves an honorable mention. It does miniscule amount of damage has a long cooldown for how much damage it does and its heal scales with your own level instead of its level meaning that you'll have a miniscule back unless you go ap where then you'll have a maybe 300-400 heal... oh and it's a skillshot with a small hitbox so unless you manage to weave it around the minions the enemies are keeping between you and them you'll just be wasting mana trying to throw it. The ability is seriously bad in its current state.

They nerfed the Q sustain because his engage was too good pre-W nerf. Then they nerfed the dash speed of his W, totally fucking his engage, and Q recieved no compensation buffs. The Riot classic.

Funny enough, Kalista's W in S5 was pretty impressive to use and play around, you can send 6 ghost to guard the jungle. And once in pro play, it was impressive to watch the jungle bengi used Nunu walk into enemy botside red camp dodging every ghost. Then, they nerf the duration and cooldown.

Except it is still incredibly impactful of an ability. Playing blitz against any of the lower ranged or immobile ADCs/supports means if you are able to secure a bush you can literally just run at them with W and E them. Even against a champ like Trist in lane she HAS to jump to not get punched and you just yoink her back.

The reason Blitz's W isn't on this list is because of how it synergizes with the rest of his kit. You use it to get a burst of speed (much more than Teemo's, might I add?) and increased attack speed (a stat that, frankly, isn't very useful on Blitzcrank, so there's some argument for it being on this list). Blitzcrank is a character that is designed to target a carry, catch them out of position, and punish them with his hook and follow up CC to allow allies to kill them. He has a silence, a hook, and a knock-up. His W allows him to get to a position to better guarantee a hook. This movement also isn't mitigated in any way by taking damage; there is a fixed amount of time set until he is slowed, by which point the Blitzcrank should have either landed a hook or fled with the rest of his movement speed if he was unable to get to a situation. Teemo's W, on the other hand, only synergies with the concept of moving. There is no crowd control that Teemo can land easier with this (abysmal) speed boost.

With Teemo as my highest mastery champion, I gotta say. His W certainly stands up to his other abilities. Sure, it's only a small speed boost that lasts a short-ish amount of time, but it's what lets Teemo chase someone down a lane or kite people amazingly. You jump at him? He blinds you and kites away. You start running away? He's faster than you, so you're getting attacked all the way back to your tower. Some things that separate a bad Teemo from a good one are their R and W usage. Honestly, I kinda wish they buffed his W a little instead of his Q, because W requires a little skill or practice to know how to use it, at least in relation to his Q, which requires lack of ability to somehow screw it up. I mean, it's point-and-click. A monkey can use Teemo Q efficiently.

that would have been great and all if teemo's auto attack was a bit longer. Honestly, fighting a teemo in lane feels like a blessing. Can you lose in lane with a teemo as an opponent? Yes. However at the late game, teemo becomes so vulnerable that he can't do anything in team fights. I would be willing to play more teemo games if his W gave at least a shield or something. Or even if they don't put one, let it be used with other champs as well.

Kogmaw could have a passive that fits his acid-spraying side. Like: his basic attacks could do overall dmg instead of dealing it in one shot, you know, like acid, their hp bar would burn away slowly. And they could add some extra thing to it, like armor or mr reduction effect, maybe a poison lile Twitch's passive, idk. This is just my idea for a new passive.

How was Shyvana's passive not mentioned? It's literally 10% more damage to dragon and 5 armor and MR, increased by 5 for every dragon you take. If you play PERFECTLY, you get... 25 armor and MR. It's literally the worst infinite scaling in the game because you will never realistically go above 5 dragons in a game.

Its good becouse u can do the first Dragon pretty easily and be quite tanky with the armor/Mr rune+deaths+witz, u get close to 200 defensive stats, but in reality Is worse than garen's W

shyv passive is good but whole team needs to know it and be ready for early 5v5 on dragon because shyv will always do dragons as early as possible. So picking bot lane to support shyv and make a lot of preasure on the bottom side of the map is beneficial (and it is caused by the passive). hope it made sense

it will be better if they make it the same as her passive in wild rift, in wild rift shyv abilities are enhanced on the dragon form based on the dragon she kills mountain give her slow on her Q wind increases the amount of move speed on her W fire make her E deal more damage and it dealt as true instead of magic ocean is the worst just more health from her ult

I'm a Teemo main and my only grievance with him right now is his W. I mean yeah if you're good with him the speed boost is VERY useful but the fact that so many champions can just dash on top of him now regardless makes his W useless for getting AWAY. Especially when you're specifically being targeted in fights or being camped non stop by the enemy mid and jungle (which happens a LOT when you're Teemo). I wish they'd do what they did in Wild Rift and give him the forward roll to give him some maneuverability to dodge out of the way of things and then get the movespeed afterwards to keep up the pace he needs to either kite or follow up on a situation.

blitzcrank's W was made for the sole reason of emphasizing his risk/reward playstyle (hooking the adc would 90% result a win in a team fight while missing it allowed a pretty big counter attack). without the slow, blitzcrank could just hook, miss, retreat like a coward back, and then try to hook again.

The only thing I can think for Kog'Maw's : You can "yuumi" onto an enemy you wish anywhere around the map upon death. (Would simply make more sense if anything)

skarner passive could probably be way better if it dropped a crystal in the spot where you first damage a champion and the time it lasts / cooldown can scale with either a stat or level so you always have an area to fight in wherever you decide to fight

0:31 whoa whoa whoa, them’s fighting words. I’ll have you know, Ornn is a really good top laner. Lots of CC, has great damage due to his W, is super tanky, and even buffs the Mythics of your entire team.

i find it funny that a few years back they were gonna fix Teemo's dated kit, making his E part of his passive and buffing his w to basically be a mini twitch q, and giving him a dodge roll as his new e and making his q also proc poison. instead they said that Teemo mains said it would ruin him . . .i wish to meet these people and ask kindly what drugs they were using. Instead they give him his rework years later on wild rift, spitting in the face of the main game and all who main him. Teemo's kit is super dated and i feel like theyre too scared to touch him too much because he's iconic to the game, but the iconic thing about him is his poison's and his shrooms, leave those alone and he's still the same satan. Then again this is the riot balance team and they probably have bigger things to worry about like nerfing Asol again or buffing Yasuo again or releasing a new overloaded champion.

Riot Mort Dog the main guy for TFT in league made a good point about Balance and games. He pointed out that they had one season where everything was balanced however, unfortunately they had the least amount of people playing + enjoying the game simply because balanced = no fun. I disagree that this has anything to do with fun. People become satisfied if they play balanced fun games and therefore feel less of a need to come back and continue. They get a good experience and leave. Fun games have less popularity and aren't as profitable as love hate addiction based stuff.

This is also why ranked systems made to maximize "player engagement" try to give you games way under and way above your skill level so you end up in a loop of losing and frustration and small crumbs of victory. Frustration hooks people in as long as they don't quit.

On Teemo's W: I would love to see his W synergize with his R. What if he activate his W first, he can throw his R when moving instead of doing the lil animation. Or his W can make him roll in any direction to help with his kiting and makes him passively faster when moving, increased even more in the jungle to help him put mushrooms more effectively.

The funny thing is, Skarner's passive used to be much better because back then EVERYONE in one team got the stats when they capture a spire. It basically makes an extra objective that players have to capture beforehand. Also this may sound controversial, but Jax W is a bad ability in essence. It's an auto reset with AP scaling. Sounds normal and then you realize oops nobody has built hybrid Jax since S7 or even earlier, and the ones who did are probably just screwing around in normals. It's also one of the few auto resets with no direct effect on the turrets. Fiora Q turrets ffs and Trundle bites them to crumbs. Only thing Jax really offers as a splitpusher is his insane attack speed ramps, which other champs can match with their turret damage already.

Honestly, given their purpose and how they synergize with the rest of the champions' kit, I wouldn't really say Teemo's W or Skarner's passiva are that bad. Skarner is honestly a 1v1 god when near his crystal, and I also think it makes him quite fair to play against, since he's a jungler who's weaker in lane, but strong as heck in the jungle itself, and the crystals not only provide him with a better skirmish, clear and teamfight, but they even grant him sustain throughout the clearing and a lot of rotation through the map, the tough part is making your team play around it. And about Teemo: sure the ability doesn't sound incredible by itself, but it is actually the base that allows him to be so goddamn annoying and get away with it. Not only is what makes his kiting insane in the early game, and basically negates any chance you have at retaliating, on top of granting HIM the ability to retaliate chasing until you're in your tower , but the fact that there is a good amount of passive movement speed also allows him to just don't take tp and have an even more oppressive laning phase with ignite, and honestly, that's basically everything that this champion was designed for. He's absurdly annoying in the laning phase, it's hard to capitalize in his mistakes, and later on he has to go around the map finding good spots for him plan his world domination, in case he's fed from lane (altough this is probably not gonna happen if the enemy team is capable of buying red trinkets lol, but at the same time, you're negating them a lot of vision, as most of the times I play him there are at least 3 red trinkets on the other team, which basically means the support is almost always the only one providing any vision, but then again... it's pretty tough to get a team to coordinate around it)

Nah, skarner's passive is very fucking good. You can proc it out of the zones if you poison stun the enemy, you can also refresh cooldown on the stun by stunning more targets. You normally stun someone, beat them with the boost for 2 seconds, then ult them, then beat them for two seconds, then stun them again and beat them for two seconds. Skarner passive is insane.

I mean.....there are literally better skirmishers than Skarner on his own spires. Olaf, Xin, Trundle, etc. will all outtrade Skarner in his spires ESPECIALLY after first back because those champs can actually build a damage item and not grief everyone because they actually scale with offensive stats. Skarner is an ult bot and loading him with a bunch of AS doesn't change that.

@@legromp640 The problem stems from the fact that every other toplaner will either have cc, dashes, more movement speed, some combination, or all of the above. Teemo ends up falling off incredibly hard very early nowadays because everyone is so goddamn sticky and Teemo's abilities aren't exactly meant to dominate a 1v1 with someone who's actively beating the hell out of you. Other than the blind he's all kite and poke. That doesn't work when you can't kite the Riven or Yasuo or Yone or Tryndamere or Camille or Sett or all the other toplaners with utility and/or movement Honestly the reason Teemo is so hated nowadays is probably due to generational trauma from the players at launch who told horror stories about Teemo who could run circles around you and drop shrooms everywhere, because back then he was actually hard to catch up to.

I’m just going to say it, adc kog makes literally no sense. Every single ability scales with AP and almost all of them are long range skill shots. I am fully convinced kog was designed to be an artillery mage then given high auto attack damage to change him into an adc at the last second

Kog is a pure hypercarry of an adc. He has nearly always been built with different items than most adc’s. Onhit items are the best for him in general and crit items are relatively useless. His most popular builds atm don’t even run a mythic in them. Without his W, he’d definetly be a mage.

As an Ornn main i must say, Ornn is worth playing a lot. He has dmg, sustain and most importantly BEARD and he has a lot of cc too but those are just the details, like that he can deal around 50% of your max hp as dmg in 1 combo, or that he upgrades your items and basically gives a good edge in late game (which doesnt exist anymore lol).

1. Kalista - If she pops her Sentinel with Q, it will become untargetable and attack nearby enemies while applying W passive (and prioritising those marked by Kalista, procing the damage) it would despawn after [recharge time] has passed. 2. Skarner - Enemy champions that have been killed by Skarner (or scored an assist) leave behind "Crystal Shards". Skarner gains Crystal Charge, if he is less than 500 units away from them. If "Crystal Shards" were to be spawned inside another "Crystal Shard" or inside the area of Crystal Spire, they would instead grow in size by 100 units. 3. Teemo - If there are enemies within X units, it makes Teemo panic and cooldown ticks twice as fast... 4. Jarvan - Golden Aegis now lasts forever or until destroyed. Damage from his passive "Martial Cadence" can repair it to its maximal value. Target immunity to "Martial Cadence" is shortened everytime he attacks Jarvan. 5. Kogmaw - After death he explodes immediatelly and leaves behind a pool of stomach acid. Size determined by how many units he killed (champions count for more). Damage scaling with his bonus AD, AP, critical chance while applying on-hit effects. Ticks of damage are faster with bonus attack speed. While the pool is active, he can click anywhere inside it to cast his R. Pool dries up, reducing itself in size, until it dissappears after 4 seconds. This process can be slowed down, if he has lifesteal/omnivamp.

You know what, imagine Kog has still a in-death passive, but instead of just walking he should be able to lock into an enemy (ideally an assasin) so the target after killing kog maw is now punished for going 1v5 and winning just because they could delete kogmaw Because now he will lock snd reveal the target, invisibility wont be as good as it could really be (and also many assasins (AND DRAKKTHAR) rely on this), and still give option for assasins to do better engages Its technically a win win

I have a better idea. He would still self destruct, but he will lock onto a target and go towards them automatically, and then explode upon contact with the target. The speed and dmg will scale with his ad/ap. There's still a way to counter it, even tho kogmaw explodes upon contact. The explosion will have a certain time limit, and if the target is far away and the time is up, it will explode on spot.

@@inurface6342 have it stick like a zilean time bomb that is a point and click final moment kaboom and the range is as long as his ult range. So like you said he dies, shoots like what look like a void bomb and it sticky like a unmissable zilean bomb and scales as you said for a few seconds before saibamen nuking the enemy target, bonus idea, it could also work like ziggs w but can also explode on turrets/inhibitors.

How about we make it like this: when kogmaw dies, he will target the one who killed him, charge up, and shoot a projectile that deals ap dmg that scales with ap/ad. It would be a nuke but it's single target oriented, and will achieve vengeance on the one who killed him. This way, it would make a lot more sense from a lore/character perspective.

When it comes to kogmaw, blowing up is kinda iconic for him, so I think that should still be his passive, but they could do it a bit differently. For example, instead of just him starting to detonate, have it charge up, and then he uses his powerful mouthblast to launch himself at where you currently have your curser or where you last clicked to have it aim there. Kinda like a short range pantheon ult that explodes on impact

2 disagreements here, Teemo’s w isn’t that bad for kiting melee top-laners early game, doesn’t justify putting more than one point of it, but it’s something, and the passive on Sivir’s R is actually really strong if you go lethal tempo and Quickblades

in the past as a teemo main in old Volibear match ups, leveling W more was the difference between me being able to run away from their dash long enough to llead them into a shroom or get away from them though situational, usually only get one point, but in specific match ups more W is more important

The problem with Teemo's W is he can't actually get full use out of it. He starts at 330, add boots and he's 375. His passive is 26% at max, so he should be at 473. Activate it and he should be at 571. The soft cap though is at 415. The soft cap is a graduated system, the further over 415 the worse the penalty is. So at passive he's at 461. But once Teemo goes active he passes 490, and the hit gets big. Instead of 571 he's at 522. What's the use of a full ability passive that at max rank is nerfed? It's the same with his actual passive. He hits the cap on attack speed too easily to get full use of it. Riot nerfs Teemo by giving him bonuses he cannot use. All the numbers look big and impressive, but they all hit a cap.

Now, that is a nice list, but i feel like there are abilities that are actually far worse in the game. - Kindred‘s Passive: the sole reason i put it here is because the Enemy can see the marks too of the Jungle Monsters Kindred needs to kill to gain stacks, meaning it‘s extremely easy to where to look and pinpoint a surprise attack against her. It’s even worse when you consider Kindred needs 4 stacks to get some power up. And Kindred absolutely needs those Stacks and Power ups because she just sucks. - Kindred‘s Ult: it‘s a bootleg version of Taric‘s ult and it‘s so much worse. Sure, it’s a circle where you and your teammates can get saved, but also the enemy Champions who can take advantage of your own ult. And 9/10 times when it’s a duel situation, the enemy will always come out on top because, yet again, she sucks. - Ivern‘s W, summoning Bushes: it‘s a complete Gimmick Ability who can as much help your team, as much as it can help your Enemy. It’s so situational that most of the time, you use it for s*its and giggles because sure, if you place 1 Bush on a lane, the enemy will of course first skillshoot there where also your ally is hiding you tried to help. And god forbid someone picks Rengar counter Jungle - Ryze‘s Ult: it takes so long until it finally does it‘s job, EVERYONE can see where you‘re teleporting and the reach is a literal joke. Only works as an escape option in an ambush situation, but since it takes ages to cast, everyone will die first. - Zoe‘s Ult: even thou Zoe can hit you like a truck, her mobility is a joke and having an ult who‘s only purpose is to make your 1 trick stronger, then it’s barely worth being an Ult. Would be wort an ult spot if she could just Teleport like Kassadin. - Kayle‘s E: it’s literally an „excuse“ ability from Riot until you reach Lvl 6 because she already has a long rage Ability with her Q who also slows and applies status on the enemy and her E is just a weak point and clock projectile that has a cooldown of over 10 seconds. - TF‘s Passive: it literally gives you extra gold between 1 - 6 Gold extra if you kill a Minion. Which is laughable compared to other Money abilities like Akshan and Pyke. Meaning you could buy a Cull with any Champion and you get TF‘s passive.

Not sure if you’re trolling or just bad at the game. Kindred ult, Ryze ult are game changers. Both of those champs are played often in competitive and their ults have huge impacts. Zoe ult is literally how she can one shot someone from a screen away, or from a tricky angle. She isn’t a melee in-your-face assassin like Kass. Having her ult to jump in like Kass makes zero sense at all. She pokes and go back to safety, from behind a wall or minion wave. Rinse and repeat until she hits a bubble or a fat Q. TF gold generation is very good and extremely consistent. It’s weighted to give you 4 - 6g per CS more often than 1 - 3 gold, so no, it’s not “just a cull,” unless you don’t know how to do math. If you have a decent CS/min you can easily get like 600 - 800g during laning. You compare TF passive to Akshan and Pyke (and weirdly left out Draven who arguably has the most high risk high reward gold generation) but remember they all need to get kills to cash in. If you’re getting dumpstered in lane, your gold generation passive is absolutely worthless and you get nothing. 0 gold. TF and GP? Just farm creeps and get extra cash. Then use their global ults to go and get other lanes ahead. Consistency is what’s great about their gold generation passive. This list literally screams someone in Bronze who thinks they are Challenger. You don’t understand the value of utility ults and abilities. Not everything in the game has to do dmg for it to be good. Sometimes you need brains.

Just give him his wildrift tumble dash version and it'll probably accelerate his win rate by a lot due to teemo main using it to dodge skillshots or close in on would be secured kills, also imagine if he could pass through small walls with it. 😆 🤣 😂

I believe that Kog'maw's passive should make every auto reduce a bit of the enemy's armor and mr, just like his q but only up to 10%, maybe 20% in late game, this would not only fit his void and stomach acid attacks, as he would be better on what he already is good at: melting tanks. By the way, i have been playing Kog'maw for the last year, so this didn't came out of blue, every aspect Skooch said is true and its sad how such an old passive survived to the new days of league just to become obsolete.

What if it was 1% per auto but the cap was 3% at lvl 1and it scaled the total by 1% for every level up to a cap of 15% at max. You're never gonna get the full 15% unless there's like Aatrox/Soraka and/or Baron and Dragon, which would be fair as a passive.

It probably wouldn't feel so bad unless it did way more damage. I enjoy the game concept of a condemned or scuttled champ that self-destructs as a last ditch effort to kill someone; Sion does this rather well. But because Kog isn't an undead bloodthirsty juggernaut, his little package should cover some ground. Either he explodes with a short burst and inflicts massive true damage or his explosion covers a wide area that does damage over time (kinds like GP ult) and progressively melts armor and magic resist over time.

His passive is useless outside of laning (his passive is meant to cheese lane kills) because if it was anything else he would be the brokest champion in the game. This is called balance. Why do you think Lulu and Kog are broken? Because increasing Kog stats breaks the game.

Xerath's passive gives him 30 mana every 12 seconds if he hits a minion or 60 if he hits a champion. Compared to a modern champion, Yuumi's passive gives her 25 mana + 8% of her max mana + 60 shield (which scales whit AP) + extra range on her next base attack basic attack every 14 seconds... but while Xerath's passive cooldown stays the same through the entire game, Yuumi's passive cooldown goes from 14 at level 1 to only 6 at level 18. And just to be clear, no, his passive dosent scale up whit anything besides level, unlike Yuumi's which scales whit both AP and max mana. in summery, i think Xerath's passive is one of the worst passive currently on the game

Ashe's Q. They already stubbed her an ability slot with her E being a glorified warding totem, they didn't have to stub her 2. It procs her on hit abilities more, but if you're building on hit or crit, you probably already have 2.5 attack speed and don't need the boost. And even if you aren't and you do need the boost, not building attack speed means you probably won't even be able to activate it until the fight is already over.

You forgot nidalees trap that does about 40 damage over 4 seconds and has 5% ap scaling. It's only useful under 2 very specific conditions. You're nearby AND they have low HP because if it's just 1 of those then you have no play to make. (also very useful for jungle camps but that's not the point right now xD) And it has a pretty high cooldown early and like the other abilities you mentioned you're definitely upgrading it last. You can also only have like 4 out at the start. I'm a nid main and I tried going burn since the traps burn for 4 seconds and placing them all around just as a meme but you can only place 4 at the start and it goes up to 10. Just the worst trap in the game compared to shaco jhin and teemo traps since it's not an AOE trap, has no CC, does the least damage, and has the most restrictions

Tbh i find Teemo's w so god damn good. Combine the passive effect with relentless hunter and you are guaranteed to be first on lane almost always so you get more exp, gold and can manage the wave (if you know how). Your jg has prio on topside cuz you will always be there first (if you react quickly). I believe his w is one of the things that just makes Teemo never lose in lane cuz no matter how many times you die, just farming and planting your shrooms correctly can keep you in the game. Also considering you are a ranged top, farming against a fed enemy is easier than it would be for a close range. His ult is a huge wave manager to a point where if you both recall, you are the one who gets there first and you can shove his wave and get some turret plates (possibly). All the death passives have the potential to screw over your enemies: Zac and Anivia can revive, Sion can punch you in the face And Karthus can spell sling away or fully channel his ult uninterrupted. And then there is Kog who just tickles you. Kogs passive is like a worse version of Quinn's old ULT, you know that ult that forces a ranged champ into melee range.

Jarvan's W is actually pretty useful in laning phase. The shield is really a secondary effect to force a 1 hit trade which tends to be in Jarvan's favor, moreso if he can Q them after disengage.

Ngl i'm a lil disappointed Malz W isn't on here. Voidlings die in literally 1 AoE ability. They're only useful for pushing a lane with no enemy in it.

If you're skilled enough you can block skillshots. Also they can deal mad damage if unattended. The reason they're balanced is because you need to mind them, if you ignore them you're toast.

@@Karanthaneos i agree, early on lane just pop the E and W and the voidlings will fucking wreck your opponent if your opponent doesn't care enough. Although I'll say that later on they become useless

@@LamitaddeVarus later on you pop e w and get the fuck out to set the next lane to fully farm by itself. The fact that you can farm while chilling on the other side is extremely useful since it leaves very little windows for your opponent to counter it. Also they shred the dragon pretty effectively allowing you to solo it with little to no damage on you. I miss Ad Malza, it was amazing, but I'm afraid it was too similar to old Yorick, they tanked quite a bit and dealt a ton of damage with very little counterplay.

@@Karanthaneos I mean, the problem is that it's not about leaving them unattended, it's that literally any AoE ability kills them. So they're useless in a teamfight unless your opponents are bad. And if an ability is only of use if someone is bad/afk, it's a bad ability.

As a teemo main I have to say that after boots this ability is very useful becouse if the enemy toplaner didn't hit you you can easily hit him becouse of the range and the passive on w and after that you can use it and have even more speed

Kog'Maw passive rework: Gluttony Kog'Maw gains 1 attack damage on hit, doubled against champions, stacking infinitely. Stacks last 15 seconds, timing out individually. On takedown, Kog'Maw loses all stacks and heals for 1% missing HP per stack over 2 seconds. On death, Kog'Maw launches a basic attack at all enemies within range.

Lissandra passive: turns every kill near her into a kog'maw passive , that slows, deals more damage,scales with AP, has a bigger radius,can be used 5 times in a tf.

I main kog'maw so it's nice to see someone finally talk about at least something to help him, i main him purely because he has a pug skin, he isn't good and it genuinely feels like every adc other than miss fortune and ezreal counters me.

Agreeing with some comments I see about kog's passive - here's my personal opinion on its "fix" 1. "mark" Enemies that damage Kog within the past x seconds, and deal whatever % damage AFTER Kog's death, based on how much damage THEY dealt to Kog. 2. The damage should be split amongst all enemies that have attacked kog within the past x seconds. 3. The damage dealt from the "mark" should be increased the shorter kog was in combat. Aka, if an assassin one shots kog, they die with him or lose 75~% their health. If he dies 1v2, maybe they lose 50% health each, etc. Thoughts?

It doesn't even need to change a lot of Kog'maw's passive. One small extra text would make it borderline broken: "It executes minions" Imagine you want to get an advantage against the enemy Kog'maw and you successfully kill him before the wave crash into the turret, only for him to execute the entire minion wave, resetting it and not losing much besides his death. Hell, you could even execute yourself under turret just to proxy the next wave and gain a lot more by pressuring the opponent.

Carefull what you say here Skooch... Someone at Riot will see this and turn Teemo's "Move fast" into: Passive: Increases movement speed and attack speed by 20%. Active: Grants gradually increasing movement speed over 10 seconds. Every second granting a stack of SPEED. Each stack of SPEED increases Teemo's ability power by 10. Upon reaching 500 movement speed, Teemo will be able to jump over terrain. The first auto or shroom that hits a champion deals an increased damage based on the targets missing health while granting Teemo a shield that lasts for 5 seconds scaling off attack speed, crit chance, attack damage, bonus health, life steal and magic penetration.

something people doesnt know is that skarner E counts as one crystal on the map this means that if you hit multiple minions and a champion you only need hit a minion and another to trade the champion and have that crystal buff for 1.5 seconds sadly doesnt last so much so it only works for trades ...

the fact that viego w isn't even in honorable mentions is kinda crazy specially since akashan ult is for some reason also if ur really having that much trouble with akhans ult especially since u for some reason mentioned ulting someone on full hp which you should never do then it might be a user error issue

it's shocking but at the same time isn't considering riot has 157 champs (currently) and each one at minimum has 4 abilities + passive so that's 785 there are probably a little bit more give or take. hopefully they can eventually give the older ones a new light.

Sejuani's new ult. Used to be that you threw something and froze a champ you hit, now it barely buffs your team to be slightly better in combat but not so much that you wouldn't be better off with literally any other support character

Teemos move quick just needs to be an update where he tumbles a small distance and an attack speed boost. Remove it from his passive or make it smaller

Quick game design note, some abilities being useless does not make a character unbalanced. That's like saying because a fighting game character made for zoning has really bad close-combat moves makes the character poorly balanced. Weaknesses =/= Not Balanced. Just a bit of a terminology nitpick and that being said these are some crummy abilities. I would love to see Kog'Maw's changed. It doesn't really mesh with his abilities and playstyle. If we were to keep the death bomb thing, I'd love to see it swapped to where he gets ramping movespeed and it's like a Samira Ult going off that scales off his attack speed and damage until he blows to further encourage his primary intended build.

The only situations where Kog'Maw passive is not useless in in shit fests like level 1 fights or ARAMs. In the very rare occasions it might also help make an early game bot lane fight a 1-1 instead of 0-1 helping to keep the lane more even and have the enemy not benefit as much from your death since you took their ADC with you.

with so many dashes in the game, they should create more champions with the effect from cassio W or singed W, like imagine if annie could W you (putting herself in risk, since it is worth it) while denying your dashes for 2 seconds. she wouldn't be so fragile to mobile champs

okay i have a suggestion for kog passive. it's really simple. it deals 150% max hp true damage. this makes suicide bomber kog viable as well as making it actually somewhat useful if you're playing normally, because at least you can take a melee person down with you, potentially. still useless if you get bonked from a lux ult but i think it'd be neat

This is a team game. Teammates are supposed to help you. This is especially true with Kog'Maw. He is the textbook, "Help me and I'll carry; don't help me and I'm useless" Champion. This principle extends to his passive, as well. It's not meant to be effective on its own. It's not even meant to be reliably successful on its own. The team is supposed to help. Kog'Maw just died? Better make use of any slows, roots, and stuns we have available to help Kog'Maw achieve something with his passive. That is how Kog'Maw works. He is dependent on his team to enable him, even after death.

What about Singed's kit? All he really has is his gas. His abilities include a glue puddle that is a flat slow, an over the shoulder toss that roots ***if they land in the glue*** and his R is just a flat stat boost with no scaling (outside of ability level), and his passive is just a slight speed boost in chase. Side note, I disagree about Zilean's passive. Early game, it can help the ADC get 6 slightly early, which can feed them a good engage and a kill if played right.
