Love this watch. I have the blue version and have reviewed it on my channel, and it really is one of my favs. Love titanium watches! Great video, really well shot!

I was under the impression that this one was only titanium coated. Nevertheless it's a favorite of mine. Much hype about that Tissot PRX which can't hit the markers. The Citizen does hit the markers perfectly. My personal analogue G Shock. Glad I bought it before Brexit.

The BN0211-50E (www.citizenwatch.com/us/en/product/BN0211-50E.html) case is described as "Silver-Tone, SS with Surface Hardening Treatment", but this one (www.citizenwatch.co.uk/promaster-tough-bn0118-55e.html) is described as "Silver Tone Super Titanium™ "

Thanks for the review. Do you happen to have any idea what the largest wrist circumference the titanium strap will accommodate (before needing to use the extender mechanism, as I think that is intended for use if you are wearing the watch over cloths, etc)? I ask because my wrist size is 8.25 inches and I want to make sure there are enough links included with the watch to allow me to use the titanium strap. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

There's a new variant, the BN0241-59H which is now available in Australia ( this model never made it) and it has a more prominent hour hand which in my opinion improves the balance given the size of the arabics. I had an earlier eco drive field watch from 2009 and it''s still going, never serviced and no battery replacement. Hope you're still enjoying your BN0118-55E - it should last welll into its second decade.

Le modèle dont vous parlez est étanche à 200m et a une dimension entre cornes de 22mm

I have this Aussie version, it's cool but I don't know why it's 200m water resistant instead of 300 and they also did away with the adjustable bracelet:(

I love mine, only niggle really for me is the lume not quite being up to the usual promaster standard, doesn't really last enough overnight unlike its 'excalibur' stable mate in the promaster line, I have both and rotate regularly.

Great video of a great watch that I am actually considering buying. Just one point of criticism if you do not mind. You say Titanium is roughly four times lighter than stainless steel. While Titanium is 40% lighter which still is a big difference but not as drastic as is stated. Best regards.

you can see that there is misalignment at 6 o'clock. Mine has even a larger one and the second hand misses about half of the markers.

That's a shame, its the angle of the shot that gives it this look in my video. The ones I've had have always been spot on.

Bought one over a week ago. I'm loving the watch but not getting on with the titanium strap. I find that the mechanism for the extension is too think and puts pressure (all be it light) on the inside of my wrist. Not completely uncomfortable but noticeable. I've ordered a simple black 2 piece nylon strap to replace it.
@hikerd53912 жыл бұрын
After a month I'm loving the watch. The weight is brilliant as I don't know it's there and I've given it a fair few knocks at work and it's not taken a scratch.

@@hikerd5391 Did you finally get to change the strap? Is it difficult to take the original titanium one? Thanks!!
@hikerd53912 жыл бұрын
I'd suggest checking KZfaq to learn how to take the titanium strap off. Buy a cheap tool off Amazon. Makes it much easier to remove and add new straps.

Totally agree, I just don't feel I'm ready to mark up the case just yet! Thats one thing you don't need to worry about with the G-Shock

@@realmofwatches1133 just bought my first citizen promaster eco drive titanium, after wearing my square g shock religiously every day for about three years. Best watch for the price and you get a whole lot of watch and functions for just 80-90 pounds sterling and you don't mind if you beat it up. It's just not going to win any beauty contests, and thought a good citizen would be a logical second watch for those days off work, because it's a good looking watch and love it so far.

does anybody no what the stand by time is on this watch is , as i work in a hospital and we have to wear nothing below the elbow so that will mean the watch is of my wrist for a 10 hr shift WILL IT HOLD CHARGE ??? !!!! . as my TAG HUER 2000 auto does not have a 7hr stand by time , so looking for a new watch these look well nice in titanium
@LeClerc48 Жыл бұрын
As this watch is an eco drive it charges by any light so as long as it gets light you could leave it off your wrist for ever and it would still work
@folksurvival Жыл бұрын
Of course it will hold charge, it's an Eco-Drive quartz. It should last around 6 months per full charge.

This watch will also service your wife so you don't have to, will wash your car every Sunday and will raise your children to be fine, upstanding members of society. Is there anything that this watch can't do?

Just buy a £5 watch. If you break a couple a year, so what? Thats what the guys at work do.
@michimadiforever1458 Жыл бұрын
Just don’t like how big the numbers are..they are too blocky & ugly for the size of the dial…it crowds the dial, and that will keep me from buying this watch. And then with them, it’s a large mix. The date window looks so tiny and with it removing the 3 o’clock indice it ruins the symmetry of the watch.
