Corey is such an underrated starkid. All the roles he does no matter how small are just excellent and bring so much to every show he's in. So glad we got to hear him sing some more in this one, such a great voice.

In my opinion, Grandpa is the best person to choose. Not only does the entire song call back to what he said at the start of the show, but he’s also the one who’s character arc feels the most complete. Mother and Father would be more tragic, though the comedy side doesn’t work with them. And Craphole and Mouthface just don’t make any fucking sense structurally.

I do think Father's death does parody the "protagonist makes a final sacrifice at the end of the story" pretty well (and makes his determination to get to Oregon hilarious/validated(?) in retrospect of his revival the moment he gets to breathe the Oregon air) - but I mainly speak biasedly because I think Jeff's performance of the song was really fucking funny.

This is the ending I saw. Sooo good! Corey and Joey just kept going and I couldn't stop laughing. I'm so glad that they showed Joey in this one, when I watched it live I kept watching Joey; his smug face as he made Corey keep popping up was perfect. Wish I could see this live again!
