Another fun show gents! I've got to leave a few comments. (OK, I ALWAYS leave more than a few!) First off, I've got to give the boat win to Bill, that truck with the boat and all the other stuff piled on top is absolutely hilarious! (Honestly, I've seen pickups around here with so much stuff piled in the back it'd make your head spin!) I totally agree with Walt's assesment of that D&H FA's "Bluebonnet" paint scheme, it's oh-so-cool and I'll tell you, I think it looks better than the Santa Fe version! I've got a Williams D&H Baldwin Shark set I bought just for that reason, you can't beat the look of the Shark with the "Bluebonnet" scheme! I've got a Williams B&O Shark set I bought for the same reason, with the classic B&O scheme it's as cool as it gets! As a rule I'm not a big diesel fan but I make exceptions, especially if they're on sale and I can get 'em cheap. Man, I don't know what kids will think of that Halloween set but I sure scares the hell out of me! The Strasburg 89 is one beautiful model! As per the "26%" on the side of the cab I hit the books for some quick research and I'm guessing it might be a shorthand reference to the engine's tractive effort, as in 26,000 pounds, which would put 89 kind of in the same group with its contemporary Moguls. Some were more, some were less, but 89's TE would be in the ball park. Thanks for posting! "The Train Shop Weekly" is always something I look forward to!

I just hope a cop doesn't see your truck going down the road Bill. He or she would have a field day writing tickets. I love the name of the boat. Harry did the most work on his. I am just trying to figure out why Hobo's would need a boat. I think Hobo's travel light. But it tells a good story of what are you going to do with that.

I called up and asked around about the Alco FA locomotives in the Halloween paint scheme and they were all of $1,000. Four trains made in China where they make $2 an hour that is ridiculously expensive. They are making money hand-over-fist by you guys pay 36% interest on a credit card to pay for them. Why don't you simply tell Lionel that as a customer you are tired of being gouged and refuse to buy their product and maybe they will bring the product down more into line with the other manufacturers. Since Weaver is retired, William was killed by bachman, kayline was killed by Lionel MTH is a shadow of its former self. The big else thinks they can charge whatever they feel like. Got no use for them or their products whatsoever.
