4 ай бұрынEpisode three of Season four, after a bit of a hiatus, has the guys taking a look at a lot of new items that came in while they play catch up with clips from two show tapings (previous one mostly got lost).
You will see the show is pretty Reading Railroad them with an Atlas O F7's & Reading and Northern Hoppers, Atlas HO U36C, Broadway Limited N scale Reading T1, more Atlas O and MTH freight cars, Lionel LionChief Steam loco, Lionel Fire House . . . . . and more.
The "Train Shop" is their 85 year old family run model railroad shop, Henning's Trains in Lansdale Pennsylvania. They are model railroaders and not Audio Visual people, but they seem to enjoy themselves and we hope you do too.

As was pointed out to us, the Atlas Reading & Northern Coalporter that we look at has a rotating coupler on the one end, not just a dummy coupler. Apparently we did not try turning it hard enough (afraid of breaking), but once turned it turns a little easier. 👍🏻

Haha! I’m not sure Conrail gave any Reading F7s CR patches. But I’m not an expert on the patches Conrail gave to their locomotives.

Collision bend is a nickname of the road that the brewery is on. Lots of car accidents on that road. Since it was a Reading theme show, I am surprised Walt didn't show off his Reading Tower

Hey Harry, Walt, and Bill. Absolutely loving the new Atlas Reading F7s! Those look so good. But, I absolutely hate Lionel’s take on the former MTH RailKing 2-8-0 Tooling. I’ll tell ya, I have 5 of the MTH ones and they all have a flywheel motor, and I bet the new Lionel one doesn’t. Even MTH’s old Loco-Sound system sound better than the crappy lionchief sounds. And don’t even get me started on the smoke unit. Anyway, another fantastic video friends! Also Harry, hope all is well with your health! Best wishes!

Before I forget to say so, stay strong and stay healthy Harry! Best wishes to you! OK, that being said great show as usual gents! And with some surprises such as just HOW did they get a smoke unit in that N Gauge engine? Amazing! I messed around with N about 30 years ago and I was amazed little things like that performed as well as they did with nothing more than motors in 'em! Time marches on and so does progress. VERY good-looking Reading F-units! It was a minor disappointment to me that the Reading & Northern didn't adopt that classic Reading scheme for their F-units but it's no big deal, they look just fine as they are. Hey, if Walt wants to repaint an MTH 2-8-0 into a Reading engine it's no sin, I've done the same with an MTH Ten-Wheeler turning it into a Susquehanna G-15. Suzy-Q steam's a little tough to find! And Harry's right, Post-Wars are coming out of the woodwork now and prices reflect that so if anyone's looking for basic affordable Lionels nows the time. And if there's wear on them it's no sin to repaint and re-decal them into a favorite 'road of your own. I've done that too. Thanks for posting, it's always a pleasure to "visit" with you!

it would be nice if you guys would demonstrate installing led lighting in a passenger car or a caboose using the small constant current boards that you sell, I used one for the first time to install led lighting in an MTH bay window caboose and it works great supplying constant 20ma to four chip Led's to light up the caboose with no flickering. The PCB that you sell is very small and is a good value for the model railroader. I will be stopping by your booth at York to purchase some more of these circuit boards.

Hi, thanks for watching. Check out an early episode, Volume 1 - No.4, I installed a lighting kit on a car. If I can do it, and make it look simple, anybody can do it. Unfortunately we are not going to be set up at York this spring. Timing just isn’t working out this time around. We will be back in October, doubling up.

I'm into O gauge I have my Dad's trains they're from Conrail he worked for the railroad for 35 years started with Penn Central 74' and on April 1st 76' Conrail . I plan on building a table and have them moving 💙🤍🚆 so I'm looking for tips and advice
