When nothing goes to plan! I was slated to race the 560km at the Traka but the weather and fate had other plans.

Training hard for the competiton is crucial as it improves fitness and riding technique. Although this competition did not go according to plan, I believe opportunities are always reserved for those who are prepared like you. Don’t lose heart, Cynthia!💪💪💪

Sucks the 560 got cancelled. The quality of this video is amazing and huge kudos for being open about your frustration and dealing with the situation.

it was a huge bummer but for the riders safety it makes sense. At least I was able to race in some distance!

Well done Cynthia. Putting so much work into the prep for a big event just to see it being canceled must have been really hard. But it looks like you turned things around nicely and made the most out of it -way to roll! I also saw some of your downhill in the Traka in one of Josh's video, that was bonker! Keep crushing it!!

it was tough but we made the best of it!!! and glad you liked that downhill clip on josh's video! I was glad to see him at that point, we had fun going down together!

Chapeau! 👏 I hope you come back next year for the self supported ultra long distance! I know some people don't switch the distance because the it was not that what they trained for. Have much luck for the Unbound XL! 🤙 Last year it was very muddy so i hope this year will the conditions be easier to handle! 👍

I will definitely be back next year! I have to race the "inaugural" traka 560. hopefully I have paid all of my mud and rain dues in the last year and I cash in on those dividends for now mud / rain at unbound XL!
