Transits design is just how most tiny/small towns in USA and Canada are like today so it's nothing out of the ordinary with how it looks even down to the bus, Canada still uses some of their old buses that look like the one from tranzit

To be fair, Treyarch has always been obsessed with mid-century nostalgia and historical nostalgia as well. Partly because their first two BO games took place during that time (World at War and Black Ops 1) but also because It’s a great way to flavor your zombies maps. If you look at the Aether maps, all of them either take place in the 40s or 60s, have elements of those time periods, or even go for turn of the century styles (Buried and the late 1800s and Origins early 1900s). I think they intentionally did this to TranZit to give it a timeless and nostalgic feel that becomes liminal and eerie when combined with an apocalyptic setting, kind of like what Fallout does. Nostalgia + Ruin = Creppy.

There are some zombies in Tranzit that wear plain civilian clothes, but if I recall correctly I think it might only be the female zombies. Not sure if that has any implications, though.

the collars on the zombies look like just a neck shackle and the zombies that have the Hanford logo on them could just be a different colour prison jumpsuit. The zombies could have came from the underground research facilities below the town since Tranzits location was chosen to make people connect the dots and IRL conspiracy theories of the Manhattan project and the town that used to be hanford WA

In alpha omega, the reason why it looks like a weird 50s town both outside and inside was for the scientists that worked there so that they didn’t lose their minds due to having to stay they for a long time. This might be the same reason for tranzit where the workers had to stay there for a long time so they used tranzit as a town for the workers to stay so they could keep some sort of sanity. Also alpha omega and tranzit are linked together due to the avagadro and(I think) both maps being broken arrow sites. This would all explain why both the maps are similar and why it seems so out of place for a futuristic time

Does anyone else think it a bit strange that the female zombie version is only seen in city survival and farm survival maps but not transit maps in general.

If the patients from the sanitarium were undead it would make sense to have the shock collars to “control” them because it would be like using the emps to neutralise them if they got out of control, and the same could really be said if they were human

If you look at the main TranZit Loading Screen card in the background very close it’s actually a hill with trees because in game back there is a little hill with a broken dead tree.

I would love to watch a video from Earth when the rockets made it explode, I mean from the characters or people that were in Earth at that moment, and about the sudden change of the environment

I think the color of the tag on the hospital zombies is triage, like assessment of patients in order to determine the urgency of their need for treatment. Cause im pretty sure they color code it.

Have you ever looked outside Verruckt and noticed how it looks like the fractured Earth. Plus Nacht is already displaced into Tranzit... Yeh.

What if those “flames” in the picture of the bus station aren’t flames? What if it’s the fog? Think about it, where is the only place we have this mystery fog? The whole world was hit by those rockets but Transit is the only place to have this “mystery mist”? Seems funny to me, but I’d say this mist isn’t as harmless as it seems. As we are aware of all the supernatural things in Zombies now, what if this mist is responsible for freezing this city in time? Some sort of preservation thing. Plus, as there are no civilian Zombies, it’s clear that people left either just before or directly after this mist rolled in. Granted, this is a long shot, but I just felt like I should write this down before I forget.

It looks like it's from the 50's because that's when it was built and it stopped growing, like so many american towns. They got a robot bus driver named Tedd to give tourists a ride and increase revenue. Simple as

I believe it’s pretty likely one of the rockets hit in Hanford tranzit due to the rocket-like debris you can find in the bowling alley in town. Now realistically it wouldn’t make sense for parts of the rocket to be intact, but I don’t know what else it could be since there’s also a massive hole in the roof above it lol

I thought that that one multiplayer map in BO4 explained what happened to all the towns people. A fog rolled in and the people disappeared without a trace, trapping the hanford site in time.

I think the reason everyone is dressed in these outfits is because that’s where the biggest faction of survivors were before everyone was infected so they’d reuse whatever was left to clothe themselves. The ones with collars were probably attempts to use zombies for labor or food sources if the flesh was the faction in charge. The reason the map looks so old despite the time it’s set is because humans constantly get really into nostalgic designs as the years progress and from a outside design perspective it keeps the map from looking like the jetsons, if they go all out and design some map that looks like the campaign’s level of futuristic tech and we don’t advance it retroactively makes the map look dated. BO2’s campaign looks silly as hell since we’re one year off the campaign’s time period and have next to none of the tech they thought we would so now it’s the time capsule of what 2012 thought 2025 was gonna be

Well Hanford is in cali there's also a place called lemore which is about 9 miles from hanford. Military bases in lemore so it would make sense for projects to be there.

The colors on the arm bands kinda look like triage tags they use to categorize patients on their level of severity in medical settings.

Harford, WA could of been a town that is meant to be mixed with retro and modern design. That would explain why while everything looks retro, it also has a modern touch to it. The lights at the bud depot outside. The design looks old, but the light look modern.

So if they all belong to the location they are found… why are there always so many zombies for all of the rounds? Is it a timeloop or a game loop? Are there only 28 zombies that dont actually die? Or are there a bunch of nazi zombies?
