Can you please help me? I bought a new Gas Gas TXT 300 and I've had the bike for 2 months now and have yet to even hear it run. It's brand new! I try to start this bike until my leg and hip is bothering me then I give up. What exactly is the secret to starting a Gas Gas trials bike? I researched it a lot and people talk about technique. I've been around 2 stroke motorcycles for nearly 50 years and never had a bike I couldn't kick over. I had a Montesa 250 that was easier to start. What is the golden secret to getting this bike running? I've read lay it on it's side until gas is running out then start it. I've read find TDC which is a mystery to me. No other bike I ever owned was like that. I've read start it in 3rd gear with the clutch in. So what exactly is going on with these bikes? Heck I'd even pay the $1,400 dollars for an e start kit but you don't have one available for a 2023. I'm seriously considering trying to get rid of this bike because right now it's a $8,400 paperweight. Please help me in any way. I love the bike and I really want to enjoy it but this starting issue has me ready to throw the towel in. Thank you so much for any advice

I know this is a late reply but in case you still have the problem, turn fuel on, choke on, momentarily lay the bike to the left for like 2 secs max then bring it upright. Then put it in 2nd, with the clutch out, sit over it and rock it back and forth against the compression of the engine maybe 3 times (so the movement of the bike actually turns the engine like half a stroke back and forth) So forward back forward back forward back. Just rocking. Then, put it in neutral, and give it your best kick. This normally works. I know it sounds like I’m making it up but honestly it works. I’d be kicking mine until I wanted to just sell it until I read this, now I start it 1st kick.
