Great video! Also, Surprised you noticed but yeah a lot of the animations were touched up and are more "squash n stretch" / "bouncy". And you would be surprised how many people think I added the homing attack / insta shield. lmao

@@obsoletepoc7050 yeah he’s desaturated in 1 and cd, in all of the art work from that time and in sonic 2 and 3 he’s more saturated and slightly darker

@@moniqueperkinsmp made it easier to tell the two apart, I know when I was younger I wouldn't struggled if not for that. Anyway this may be an unpopular opinion but I think the light blue kinda suits him

3:00 honestly, that’s a compliment to the official stuff if you take it out of context. Because in most franchises, the fan stuff is better than the official source.

Homing attack can be unlocked for just finishing the story in 3DS version

That’s true, but in the 3ds port it bogs down level design a ridiculous amount with homing attack chains. It’s just not as fun to me sadly

If anything, I’d say this improvement mod looks like a sorta Sonic 3 sprite because.. well the colors and stuff. Personally I respect that people like Classic Sonic or “Santiago” but I don’t like it because it’s literally just the boxart from Sonic 1 JP. Was it good? No! I always thought that American sonic was the true classic sonic because in one of the sprites of both sonic 2 and sonic 3 you see American Sonic for a split part. Just his quills. But I know some people don’t like American Sonic, personally I DO. With all seriousness this mod literally makes Classic Sonic better! In sonic 3 super sonics eyes are green and that is a really good detail!

This mod is great, especially with the physics. But the model it comes with I’d argue is worse. It looks more like the Marza Classic Sonic model, which is some gross amalgamation of US and JP Sonic’s designs. The goal should’ve just been to make it look more accurate to JP Sonic (There is custom model support though, so props for that feature)

the improvment mod would be good just the thing i dont like about it is the color, i like classic sonics light blue color, if its dark blue he will look more like modern

how do you feel about classic and modern sonic getting the drop dash in sonic x shadow generations

I think it was a no brainer for classic to get it. It’s one of his main moves now. However modern Sonic getting the drop dash is very interesting to me. It actually looks exactly like the spin dash I showed in this video, including the jankness. I just hope it functions better.

@@NokaiGaming I feel like they need to have a good reason for me to use the drop dash for modern sonic besides when I have no boost or hit and wall that you need to slide under then I can just drop dash under it (if the hitbox is small enough like the the slide hitbox)

@@bigmacemperor there are a few different mods for things like the UI and stuff, but for the main hub world, look up “Adabat Adventure Pack” for generations. It should still be up on game banana
