@@DrunkenGuitarGuy I agree. I have nothing against most americans. I have lived there for a couple of years and had many american friends. I guess it is possible to mitigate the current situation. Although I do ask myself why it took so long before DOJ got involved and took it so long to get serious. And there still seems no real progress. But maybe there is urgency behind closed doors because of ghe sensitivity. My biggest concern as Dutch citizen is if we can trust the USA in the future. I M totally convinced that the current administration will not pull a similar tric but how can it be prevented that this happens in the future. Are you going to build in guard rails? Can future presidents be trusted? For example, can we trust that DeSantis will treat the secret documents in the rigth way?

International propaganda! Sidenote: I am not a trump supporter. I have never voted for a republican in my life, and although I never did believe in voting I did make an exception for a few years. I am ashamed to admit that I did vote for Democrats during that time period completely.... However I had been railing against the neocons for the last two decades and foolishly saw them as the lesser of two evils. Here's the thing, Trump is not a savior, he has not on your side and he is not here to help her save any of us regular people. I think a strong case could be made even that he's actually just as much a part of the whole machine as the establishment seeming to fight against them and he is just playing a role.. . Whether or not that is the case, this is all a big play being used to manipulate your emotions to dangle the carrot of possible salvation right in front of you just a little bit to keep you going in the totalitarian system we are in. You don't have to be saved, you just have to believe that salvation is right there, and if you support the system will you have to believe the enemy of the system is weak and the system will crush that enemy so that you can back the victor. People, don't play into this. The world is a stage you're being gamed, and you're being used up for every resource physical and spiritual.

Article V of the US Constitution gives the commander in chief plenary power over the declassificstion of documents. Just by walking out the door as president with them he made them declassified. I understand that Canada doesn't have a Constitution like the United States does. That said he doesn't need to ask permission from anyone to declassify anything. There weren't any laws that ya'll claimed he broke. It was a political stunt done just prior to the midterms p. He declassified documents that had dirt on all the CROOKS In the Swamp. Oh and FYI Elon Musk will be dumping massive data that will put many in prison

Trump was never about the integrity of the presidency, or the United States and our allies. He was about what he and his family could gain, even if it was illegal. @@maxwell4431 Maybe it's because I haven't gotten that far into the video yet, but yeah the original post seems rather random. ITAR is an acronym for International Traffic in Arms Regulations which are export restriction regulations related to defense & military technologies [though the exact regulations encompass a broader collection of things than many people would imagine it does.] Overall it is a rather rare set of laws that companies are punished over [I think there are like less than 50 instances a company was penalized for this out of a list of at least 14,000 penalties I've tracked in my database.] Many of instances of some larger penalties involving ITAR violations also usually involve other serious violations of laws that play a larger role in the size of the penalty in comparison to the specific ITAR stuff.

The Presidency represents governing tasks for not just one State, but ALL STATES, all citizens. Nothing gives one Ex-President - already voted out of office - any Constitutional right to weigh in on Presidential decisions of the current one. To think differently on this issue is to render elections meaningless and a citizen's right to use his or her's vote as an expression of self determination null and void.

Colinwin: Yes and our Prime Minister, who is not perfect by any means, just finished testifying under oath at the commission enacted to determine whether or not he was justified in using the EMA to restore order. That’s a lot different than what is happening in the US Jan. 06th hearings where a large number of Republicans ignored subpoenas and pled the 5th. In fact I was impressed by Trudeau for the first time since his terms in office.

#LesRowley I think I'd like Michael Caine in such a role. He was marvellous in the film set on the French Right, "dirty rotten scoundrels", very funny. Failing casting him, Brendan Gleason too.
