The Truth About Alcohol And Spirituality.
Human beings are made up of body, mind, and spirit or soul, and we need to look after both the body and the mind to be healthy. But essentially, we need to pay great attention to our spiritual being and health. For example, the type of food we eat, the drinks or liquid we consume all go a long way with our life.
However, there have been certain beliefs and ideologies about alcohol and spirituality but before divulging into that, let us see what spirituality is. Spirituality or spiritual awareness is a process of discovery. It gives us a feeling of closeness to the world. It is how we find value in life, the meanings and reasons for it. It allows for openness and newness of life experiences, seeing life in a new dimension, letting it flow, accepting what we cannot change, and acting when needed. Ultimately it is finding who we are and what is important to us.

Small amounts can be better for you if needed, i used some tonight for an injury i have while being at a high vibe and high awareness and it's only helped me, it's only done me wrong when i abused it, like drinking for fun, alcohol has a real purpose and is you use it for it's purpose you won't lower your vibration... That's what I've learned and why i looked this up, thinking there would be truth behind it where it's beneficial, which it is

The "spirit" of the alcohol is the most concentrated part of the alcohol once all of the water has been removed. So the liquid that is left is called the spirit. That is where they get the name from. It was said that the person that became intoxicated was possed with the "spirit" that was in the alcohol and hence the negative connotation.

Wrong. It was a name given to the experience of being high... seeking the spirit within. Alcohol is truly a poison, yet many have sought it as a means to reach " nirvana" or an altered state, closer to God.

But I feel euphoric on alcohol, especially biodynamic wine. I think it really depends on the state of mind you start drinking in. It amplifies who you are in that moment.

False. I tried to live this way. Alcohol will destroy you because it's pure poison to the body. The euphoria you get is so temporary, it only happens because of GABA receptor activity but shortly after induces anxiety, addiction, low states of consciousness and a disconnect from the divine. Try kratom and kava instead if you love booze. These two plants wont wreck your vibration

It's not 'ethanol' (alcohol) which results in intoxication - it's 'ethanal' (acetaldehyde) - which is even more toxic than ethanol - See Dr. Andrew Huberman videos on alcohol. 🃏

Yes. Of course we feel euphoria from alcohol. That is the natural release of dopamine. Then to counteract this, the brain spits out cortisol. A hangover from drinking is actually the withdrawal of the over, not " normal" release of these neurotransmitters. Bad deal.

Really good explanation! I had a turning point on the weekend (April 6th) as I got black out drunk at a gig and had a conflict with my best friend . It wasn’t the first time it’s happened but it’s definitely the last. I really hurt me that I not only embarrassed her but myself . I don’t ever want to do that again. I really can’t wait to reap the rewards of sobriety . It’s been a long time coming that I put down the drink . Best of luck to those who are awakening and realising how poisonous alcohol is to your body mind and soul . ❤

What are the rewards of sobriety? You get rewarded for being sober? Where do I sign?! I was sober and not an alcoholic long before I became one. What are these rewards?

Put it this way , alcohol rewards you with the consequences of hangovers , headaches, low vibration etc , and addiction if used excessively 😅😅. As someone who’s had alcohol dependency for 10years ; My understanding is that there are far more rewards (a deserved outcome or result) in life being on a path of sobriety than there is with alcohol. 🙂

@nellss3773 that is your experience. Ok, but what is the reward?! Living like a normal person? How is that a "reward"? That's what everyone else is receiving for doing nothing but existing. A "reward" would be something something special that no 1 else would get. Buy all sover gets you is the same regular stuff. What's special or rewarding about it? The same job, car, house, bills exist if you're sober or not.

Won't make excuses but some times I would go through phases By-passive Enlightenment when I drank and was trying to go though Spirituality.

Same! That's me now! I find I have more experiences, revelations, "downloads," if you will, etc, while drinking that I don't get while sober. But it's not a consistent result.

sometimes one drinks because they are highly aware but then again the drink you drink may define you as a person... drink rum and coke makes you a free spirited being. Mind, body, and spirit... so, your psych is in someway not right but also depending on the person not wrong.

Thanks for sharing. Satan had me down this road for a while but thankfully I found Jesus the Christ. He saved me from alcoholic spirits, He filled me with His Holy Spirit and cleansed my body of wickedness. Praise be to Jesus. He said don't be filled with alcohol but be filled with the Holy Spirit 🕊️📖🙏

Hey wait just a minute. Jesus turned water into wine. Didn't you get that, even in Bible School??? To become sober, may or may not have To do with religion. Often times, it is a physical reaction to alcohol, resulting in illness that brings one to a sober life. What ever is your path to being a loving, kind and aware human is the gift.

When I drink, I get hypomanic and the first stage is spiritual things... I get messages and am poised to tell the person (that's weird but not bad) BUT... after that, I turn different & it's like I've a light switched on that demons can see & they then take over & I'm horrible. I am slowly learning, that when I drink, my angels leave & devils find me & then I suffer the consequences. I can't drink basically
