Only an idiot in todays world would want to work for or with Diddy. He's a robber for Gods sake and will never embolden you to get back up when things go back, he'll abandon you sharply and with immediate effect but if you blow up, he pockets the dough. There's one who's ever worked for him that hasn't come out revealing his dirty tricks to the world be it Usher, Mase, Craig Mack, Yung Joc and tons more.

Yeah I agree .. Aubrey pretty much made Danity Kane if I'm being honest. I know ya'll all like Dawn. But Remember Aubrey came first. She was the first person Diddy recognized. She was literally "the star" of the group. Even after leaving DK people still recognize Aubrey over all dem girls. If I'm being honest had Diddy's dumbass not fired Aubrey. They would have been more successful. Media focused on Aubrey because she had that image. People were drawn to her image and the media ate it up. After she left and Diddy worked with Dawn. He didn't do that well with dirty money. Okay yes they had a couple hits with Dawn and the other black girl. But it was nothing compared to the hits of DK. It was a terrible decision Diddy. He should be ashamed of himself with his egotistic self. I secretly also blame him for bitting the girls against each other. I mean shit it was partially the media's fault. Labeling Aubrey "The Hot" girl, Dawn "The ugly girl that can sing", Shannon "The white girl that can dance", D.Woods "the black girl that can dance" and Aundrea "the other girl". Shit I be hating bitches if someone called me ugly and they said the other one was sexy. Also tbh what people are not realizing and talking about. Ya'll think Dawn got the burned end of the stick. I truly felt that D.Woods was the one that got mistreated the most. That's just in my opinion. Yes Dawn did go through racism, prejudice, bias, discrimination, etc. But it was D.Woods that ended up being fucked over the most. Dawn still had a career and was promoted through Diddy. So she didn't end up being mis used like everyone thinks she did. I understand her back story it is sad. I'm sorry she went through that. But she was still doing alright after leaving DK. She didn't have it that bad trust me. D.Woods was not only fired but she had to rely on her own success and had to do things her own way. I love all them girls GO DK!! I love Aubrey, I love Dawn, I love Aundrea, I love Shannon and I love D.Woods. They all made DK. I love DK as much as I love 5H Fifth Harmony!! I can draw soooo many connections to both groups!! All girls leave a special place in my heart! DK forever!!

Diddy is gay anyway. All his exs says that. His wife was writing a book about it them boom she's found dead. Recently jaguar came out and said she walked in on diddy getting head from Christopher Daniel's. Kevin hart even called him out for making gay passes at usher. He likes men. Not women. That's why his so hard on women. And many people said cassie was diddy sex slave. He would make her go down on men before he closed deals and his wife said he liked strap ons. Men know about homosexuality with diddy but dont say nothing about it because of hus power and who he is. The only ones that talk about it is those who are blacklisted or blackballed or thoses who left the music career for something else. Every body else know he be in mansion parties with men. Loon (he left the damn country and became a Muslim), Mario Winans, Black Rob, Lil Cease...smfh. On Ludacris' first official album, _Back For The First Time_ he has a song called "Hood Stuck" with a line that says "Almost got signed with Puff, Puff, but I think I'll pass..." Not only was that a double entendre, it was one of the smartest things he ever did! That would've been yet _another_ artist added to this ever-growing list.

Let's just say ALL of his groups (including solo artists and writers) going all the way back to Jodeci got screwed except for B.I.G... well we actually don't even know THAT full story. But if he were still alive I am pretty certain there would have been beef between him and Puff eventually the more B.I.G.'s career grew, similar to the drama and separation we saw between Dame and Jay at Rocafella. IMO

I still get mad thinking about Diddy killing off Danity Kane. At the end of the day what did he gain from it? He is the one that needed to sit down and be humble. Especially when their music was better than anything he ever released on his own by far. I can’t recall one song released by him that didn’t feature another artist. And that’s because he’s a wanna be artist. It boils down to him and his ego being hurt by a woman talking back to him on television. He’s a joke in all honesty. Idgaf how much money he has. He thinks he’s superior to women. Look what he did to Cassie. That’s some “bitch assness” in my book.

Hannah Benard you saw that connection? I see that connection all the time as well! I keep telling people that all the time. They are the older Fifth Harmony lol. So many connections. DK formed on a reality TV show on MTV called Making the Band. 5H formed on a reality tv show on Fox called The X Factor. They both had 5 members each. Aubrey from DK and Lauren from 5H developed that wild sexual side of the group. Ally from 5H and Shannon from DK were the oldest members of their groups. Ally was the little Big Sis. Shannon was the mother of the group. D. Woods and Normani was the soulful dancers of the group. Dinah and Dawn both had strong powerful background stories. Dinah lived with 25 people. Dawn went through hurricane Katrina and So did Normani as well. Aundrea and Camila were the fun likable fan favorites of the group. Also they have similar skin complexion, speak Spanish, have Mexican backgrounds. Also they are both close in height too. They both either 5’1 or 5’2.

Hannah Benard Danity Kane was managed by Diddy. Fifth Harmony was managed by Simon Cowell. Both groups of you think about in some way originated or located in Miami. Miami is the homeland for both groups. Fifth Harmony performed for the first time in Miami and they even had a different name their name was Lylas. Making the Band had a another season after the girls made the group focused on recording their first album and they were located in Miami. Danity Kane was a mix of races. Danity had 2 black girls 2 white girls and 1 Latina member. Fifth Harmony was a mixed of races as well. Fifth Harmony had 3 Latinas 1 black and 1 Pacific Islander member. And the Latinas were distinct as well. 1 was Cuban, 1 was Mexican and 1 was Mixed Cuban/Mexican. Because Danity Kane had more black members they were marked more through black media and black entertainment. Because Fifth Harmony had more Hispanic members they were more marked through Hispanic and Latin media. Also both groups had a bisexual member. Lauren from Fifth Harmony and Aubrey from Danity Kane. And they were both known as the hot girls of their groups.

Hannah Benard honestly some of their songs like Bad Girl reminds that much of DNA from Little Mix. So I can kinda see connections between Danity Kane and Little Mix as well tbh. Dynamically they seem more like Fifth Harmony. Musically I can see them being like Little Mix.

All these people back in the day trying to say she must be sleeping with him, because she spoke up was a prime example of how misogyny and chauvinism worked. Going back and rewatching some of making the band is making me realize how Diddy was basically running a Kpop Company on a smaller scale. They are recruited from a young age and sometimes spend up to 8 years training daily to perfect their singing, dancing, foreign languages, media training for interviews. Every so often they are expected to show their progress and those not keeping up are ejected from the program. They have to fight for their spot and are built by label execs. That’s probably why DK was so damn polished on tour. Watching the making the band tour performances of them doing bad girl is incredible. They were a well oiled machine on stage, sadly being put together based on skill and visuals doesn’t guarantee they are going to get along as people.

When I heard about the drama a decade ago. It made me not like Dawn cuz back then I thought she was taking the attention away from the other girls. However looking at this documentary is making me see the brighter softer side of Dawn which is nice to see. :)

I found about her ethnic races background that she is Haitian and Creole... But, I am not happy that she did to her face because she got her nose done and her face too, she was beautiful before without surgeries, now her looks is not the same like it were back then. She should have leave that along with out surgery. Dawn is amazing talented person I ever seen. 😞🙁

Cassie could barely sing live or dance, but he managed to make it work for her. Really makes you wonder about Diddy's intentions for these ladies and his lack of dedication to them. How do you only release 100,000 albums and supply $0 on tour for a group that is doing so well?

I don't think Diddy really cared about Danity Kane he was only interested in the money he's a business man. Making the band was making money for him and he fired them for the show to boost ratings.

Dawn did an interview and she said Diddy called them ugly and said they needed to fix their faces and now that explains why Dawn and Aubrey changed their faces. She said he said that to prepare them for the industry and that is what's wrong with the industry! Smh.

aundrea hodges well, let me tell you something I was raised to be strong and love who I am and have confidence, she was insecure in herself already not just one damn comment made her change her face cmon na! Then let a man call her ugly, when I’m sure all those women in that group had insecurities only the weak break, I ain’t weak so what’s to front about 😊

I just didn’t know what happened...I wish he would’ve poured more time into DK as a whole...who knows where my girls would be. Say whatever you want about Diddy, he can put together a group! I LOVE DK “to this day, to this day” lol I’m going to play their albums NOW! Thanks Empressive, I love when you do these videos! ❤️

This series on DK was soooo good! It's almost 3am and I'm still watching Pt2!! I truly watched these women grow while they were in the group all the way up to Dirty Money (which I still play that album like it just came out). I can't believe I completely missed Dawn's solo career after leaving Bad Boy and witnessing her innovative talent and fearlessness. She really was a trendsetter and I see how some of the artists we hold dear clearly ripped off her styles. Smh So saddening to me how Diddy mishandled them and his own group Dirty Money... They were cutting edge and he needed to let it ride a bit longer to see his ROI. Ugh so upsetting remembering all that. And now he wants to do Making the Band again... With his sons in charge??!! Hell no.
