People often ask me what it's REALLY like to have four children, so I thought I'd tell you the truth - the good and not so good things - about being a big family. I loved watching this video 😊 my four are 6, 4, 18 months and 3 months and adding the fourth made a huge difference to time and work in the house 🥵 but looking at all the positives of having 4 beautiful children I wouldn't change it for all the world.

These are the ages I’m thinking about. Currently I have 3 & 4 year old. Thinking about expanding my family in about two years

Wow you are radiant. I've got 2 step kids & my daughter of 8 months, I'd like to have one more child in the future but the idea of having 4 kids half the time was really stressing me out. But I have determined I think it will be worth it. With 3, the hard thing so far is the bickering yes and the noise. The kids are constantly talking & I'm the kind of person who enjoys both moments of talking & moments of quiet throughout my day. Also I've got to teach the kids better problem solving skills because they come to me for every little disagreement and it's annoying. By the time I have my next child the other kids should be 12, 9 & 4. I'm also the oldest of 4 kids so I have familiarity with the dynamic, but never thought I'd have so many myself. I lived in a large family I was the youngest of 6 now our kids always play together it's touching because I didn't meet my cousin's till I was 20 because they live overseas

Mum of 4 here too - lovely video as always! Mine are 16,10,5,2 .Definitely agree with all the points here! Especially that they don’t want to go anywhere 🙄 .

I am 29. I had my first in my teens , now that I am older I am aware of all a child really requires. Not only that but all the stepping stones they need to over come and need me to be at my very best.

I have 4 as well and I feel that the moms that act like it’s all peaches and cream and so happy looking..must be drugged up, it’s a circus and definitely tests your patients and works on the nerves of your marriage. These KZfaq videos are easy to make when you are all smiles.

I had a leftover first response pregnancy test from last month. We had a little scare last month. And The entire morning I was every busy mom of three, anyway I frlt lightheaded twice last week. I checked my cycle app and im two weeks late! I took the test just to make sure. I am probably exactly one month along…. Expecting my fourth child.. I still cannot believe it. Just sent my husband the picture of the test, hes working and cannot have a cellphone on the site he leaves it in the car. I am sure he has not seen it but omg I cannot believe it.

I'm pregnant with my 4th and everything you said is already true with 3! Do you have some family support? We do not and that's been the hardest part for us in whether or not to grow our family.

I’m a mom of 4 boys! 13, 12, 6 5 months. And boys just because they are spaced they are busy all in different stages. From high school sports to a baby who needs constant attention.

I know the ages are different as I have 4 aged between 4mths and 7 - but would you do a video on tips on solo parenting with 4 kids. I find it hard taking them out somewhere on my own or trying to keep them off the screens over summer holidays whist hubby is at work!! Took them out today to soft play but that’s because I know they are caged in 🤣🙈.

I have four kids too. 2 boys 2 girls all 7 and younger. Their about a year or two apart. It is very hard. The arguing The laundry The mess THE DISHES And when we go out my kids like going out but getting them ALL ready and packing is a mission for me. I pack a big fat bag like I'm going away for a week! Lol I need to have extra clothes ALL the time undies socks wipes, soap, handsanitzer FIRST AID KIT( bag of bandaids and A+D) etc. People might think I'm crazy having all that stuff but at least I'm prepared.

Hell my problem is im very upset that i wont be around much to watch my twin daughters grow up because im gonna have to work 5 damn jobs to keep up with the bills

After each of your children did you know you would have more? My two are 8 and 4 and the bickering is the hardest part!

I think if you have the money get a nanny! No one should bare the sole responsibility of 4 kids as a mom! My goal is to work hard enough to afford a nanny

*We have 3 under 3 (or oldest just turned 3, but I feel like my husband is harder to handle then all our 3 kids all in all🤣 At first we did NOT want one more now we are going back and forth, but I would not do it plannned. But if it HAPPEND I would ofc keep the baby for sure. BUT omg my oldest is so so stubburn right now, so it is a bit of a "hard time". She is 100% the hardest one of them all right now. My girls are so uniqe and our little boy. Our oldes have TONS of energi, but also she gets really angry if it is not how she want it to be😬 But she can also be sooo cuddely and kind. Our younger daughter is alot more calm and paitient and our son is only 3,5months old but he is really calm so far and a EASY baby for sure🥰 I am just happy they sleep well at night for the moust part. Again our oldest has some sleeping problems right now and I hope it is just a little fase she is going trough, and from 1-2years old she sufferd from night terrors ot was the WORST. and it made me have nightmares every night, youngest daughter have no problems, but she shares room with her sister, and when she screems at night and cry and get upset she wakes up.. And I am so scares she will get scared by her sister.. :( Yesterday we needed to take out youngest daughter out of the bedroom so she got to sleep with her father while I was in the bedroom with our oldest for 60minutes, trying to help her.. I HATE that part. I really do, I love her soso much but that is the one thing that is hard for me. She get so mad, and sad I don't even know. And I don't understand what it is. :( She is potty traning aswell so it might have something too do with that. Not sure, I just HOPE it get's better. My kids do love to go out tho, the love to be outside, play, having some fun, but travveling is a BIG no so far. 🤣. I LOVE MY/OUR KIDS AND I WOULD NEVER CHANGE IT FOR THE WORLD THEY SAVED ME & my life tbh! -Katarina 28, Norway*

It sounds like your husband needs to be more helpful when it comes to getting them out the door- I remember this was always a difficult thing for my mom, too. Get his help and express loads of gratitude for it- this will make him feel like you need him, which men secretly really crave. It'll be great for your marriage and for you!

Just wondered how old you are? I have two boys aged 11 and 8. I always wanted three kids but think I’ve left it too late (I have just turned 40 😢)

I don’t think u are too old. My friend had her fourth kid at 44/45. You might be super healthy and in great health mentally and physically older. Follow your heart. I’m 39, and am considering a fourth. It’s a tough question but if you are still wondering about it, maybe your heart is still open to it. Maybe talk to your doctor, your significant other, God, pray and find your peace in the decision in whatever way you decide. I was wondering about this too. I go in waves when I think I’m done or go in waves when I think one more! I don’t think I’m ready to be “done , done”, since I have all of these questions and that’s ok too. When I’m done, I’ll know and have peace about it and I think you will find peace one way or another too. Hope this helps.

I suppose you fall in 1 0f 2 categories.... You are either very wealthy, or you are very poor. How can I say that? If you are very wealthy then 4, 5, 6,7, or 8 will make NO difference, your very wealthy, so the extra money is nothing. If you are very poor, it also dosent matter because of all the assistance you will be getting from the government. If you are in the real middle then having more WILL make a real difference to your lifestyle. At 266,000 (USD per child) If you say your In the middle you are not telling the truth.

that's so wrong. poor or rich, more kids are definitely going to leave a dent in your pocket. Everyone values their money ESPECIALLY wealthy people. Apart from money there are also other challenges families go through with more kids. If you want to play it safe then don't have kids at all

@@pumpkin5715 oh my philosophy is to have one child and done. That way you get all the fun sweetness that going through like with a young child has to offer, yet it still leaves time for your own hobbies etc. You are correct that it’s not only money but time, and energy. Or lack there of to do other things with the time you do have. I also believe that the more you have the less the quality is per child as far as your ability to spend time with them.

Or don’t take the government assistance? We could get it, but we choose not to. (Being responsible to care for the family that you’ve chosen to bring into the world.) And it’s a lot of sticking to a tight budget and being frugal, and abstaining from the many unnecessary wants of this life. Not sure how “they” calculated that number, but kids do not cost $266k. 😂 They can if you let them. But they don’t have to.
