In the latest episode of my series, I will be sharing my personal journey of coping with the challenges of a long-distance marriage. I must say it has been an intense, emotional rollercoaster ride with some days being easier than others. However, today is one of those harder days where my heart aches and I miss my husband terribly.
Being away from each other for extended periods of time can take a toll on one's emotional and mental wellbeing. The feeling of loneliness and missing someone you love dearly is not easy to deal with. It is a feeling that cannot be put into words. However, despite all the hurdles, my husband and I are committed to making it work. We have found ways to stay connected, even when we are miles apart.
We have regular video calls and text messages, share shows and podcast coz we love those kinds of things. These little things have helped us to stay connected and keep the spark alive in our marriage.
Overall, it's not easy, but we have learned to appreciate each other more and cherish the moments we spend together. We have also realized that distance does not have to be a barrier to love. With patience, understanding, and commitment, it's possible to make a long-distance marriage work.
