Honestly guys, I definitely far prefer your approach to the conversation around watches and have always loved what you’ve put out, but I also understand how people not already into watches might find a lot of the stuff that some of my favourite watch KZfaqrs, including yourself, a bit pretentious. I love that there is an effort to be refined about things, but for a popular audience I think his boisterousness is part of why Nico was able to gain so much traction. The fact that he is such a personality makes him stand out and seem probably more appealing to people first getting into watches who may be a bit overwhelmed by the prevailing culture, even if that culture isn’t ACTUALLY snobby (it can just appear that way from the outside looking in, imo). His success comes from a different place than yours and I think that it’s impossible to compare outcomes when you're delivering such vastly different content with very different base audiences. Your success is amazing and I look forward to seeing it only grow further!

I didn’t like Nico’s videos at first, but the more I watched them from a random click here or there, the more I liked them. He seems like a genuine guy. What you see is what you get. I bet being his friend would be a blast. Loud people can embarrass you from time to time, but over the long run, they create more hysterical and memorable moments than anyone. I’ll take a friend like that everyday.

Seems like just about every large enough friend circle has a person like Nico. We definitely have ours! EVERYONE knows him, and they remember the names and current life details of a nearly incomprehensible number of people, so they genuinely care about their friends. But they can absolutely come off as brash, pushy, know-it-all, aggressive, etc. I appreciate them in the right moments, but they can be incredibly draining or embarrassing at the wrong moments, lol.

I really like the people you describe. Usually, these individuals display their authentic selves. A quality you rarely get from passive aggressive types that keep their opinion to themselves, but speak badly behind your back. I will take brash all day long rather the latter.

Nico has a way of being brutally honest with his opinions. And I think some might be put off by this, however I think it's a great quality to have and it could be the reason why he is so popular. Btw, Nico has no problems laughing at himself. . I would imagine you would need thick skin to deal with him on a regular basis. But, I don't know him or have ever done business with him. People that have might have a different opinion of him.

So I only came familiar with who this guy is from a Ryan Serhant video just recently. As the video progresses about Ryan's watch collection all I remember thinking about this unknown character was that "this watch guy definitely has a strong personality that could easily turn some people off". When I read this video title I had an inkling it was the same guy so I went back to Ryan's video and sure enough...!

Nico is a great guy who has been totally kind to me and I’m a complete nobody in the watch world. I will always be a fan. While I’m on the subject, the same can be said for Christian. He is an amazing guy who has been the coolest dude to me, a someone who’s not on anyones radar on KZfaq or the watch world. Couldn’t have more respect for either one of them. Never spoken to Michael but given his company he keeps, I’d say he is most likely very much the same 👍

I don't follow Nico because of his particular brand of watch commentary, but that's not to say he's a bad guy, he seems like geeat fun. There was a lot of beef between Nico and Oisin O'Mally that dominated for a while, court case, police involved etc. Drama like that seems unnecessary, after all, it's just watches and they don't actually matter at all 😅 Oisin O'Mally seems to have an issue with just about everyone though, especially if you think watches don't make for a particularly reliable asset/investment category. His fall out with Britt Pearce was laughable and completely over the top. So much drama in the KZfaq watch world 😂 c'mon now...settle down.

@@valebliz Exactly 😂! Haha, no, so his channel used to be called 'The Timeless Watch Channel' before he changed it to his name. O'Mally shoots videos mostly in/around Venice, Italy. I actually really enjoy the videos about watches and surrounding topics he posts up, it's just the drama that surrounds the channel and his reaction to other people's opinions that puts me off. Also his beef with Nico...that was and still is, exhausting to listen to.
