So Tudor is really out here attacking other brands rn...someone come pick up their man. So, does the Tudor Black Bay Ceramic have a chance at going toe to toe with one of the biggest watch brands owned by one of the biggest watch groups (Swatch)? Specifically the Omega Seamaster Professional 300m (in ceramic of course) I think...yes...but I'm interested to hear what you think!

Today, Christian and Michael address some of the hot topics in the industry right now, including why Tudor is going straight for the jugular of other, arguably bigger brands!
First up, though, we spend some time talking about Joe Biden's Omega collection, which includes a Speedmaster and Seamaster. Joe is no stranger to the watch community, with everything from a Seiko to a Vulcain to a Rolex Datejust in his collection. And really, as far as world leaders go, he has some of the best horological taste there is.
Next we move into Christian's inability to make up his mind about Hublot, which is hysterical just on its face. The watch in question is Hublot's new rhino themed piece in partnership with a charity that focuses on saving the rhino from extinction. At the start, just looking at the camo strap variant, Christian thinks it's an ugly watch, but upon further inspection of the green strap, plus noticing the small rhino on the sub-seconds, he turns around in an almost complete 180 and it is truly gold.
And now for the main event - Tudor going for Omega's jugular. The watch that raises this point is Tudor's new Black Bay Ceramic, which features nearly all of the same specs as the Omega equivalent Seamaster. The black ceramic case is a given, but looking a little deeper, the Tudor is also METAS certified as a Master Chronometer, which is something only Omega could claim for the longest time. With Tudor throwing their hat into that ring, Omega's sales people are certainly in for a dilemma, especially when you come to terms with that roughly $4k price differential.
Back to Hublot to talk about a watch Christian LOVES - the Classic Fusion Concrete Jungle. The watch is literally made from concrete (to be fair, a concrete composition modified by Hublot to make sense on a watch, but still...CONCRETE), and has a surprisingly minimal design given how out there its material composition is. But it's a real winner, in Christian's book.
Finally, the blingiest Rolex to ever bling OR Rolex, the 6269 Daytona in yellow gold with a diamond dial and bezel. It's the kind of watch John Mayer HAS to own, surely, and it's just really cool. Sure, it might be perceived as feminine on the surface, but ultimately, it's just a cool, kind of illogical, certainly ridiculous watch that represents a massive part of the Crown's heritage.
