Thanks for the insights. The title of the video is not really proper english though, it's either "why did he leave haas" or "why is he leaving haas". Using present to describe something like that either means its a redundant event (which it isn't) or feels like it's missing a contextual appendix. Only Latin languages use it in this form

To be honest, I think there is a lot more going on behind the curtain than just Günther Steiner getting ousted from Haas. Simone Resta has also left and both were important factors for the Haas - Ferrari partnership. Ferrari already will lose the Sauber Team as customer after the end of the 2025 season and I highly suspect Hass could be the next, as in either they get a new engine supplier *cough* Audi *cough* or Gene Hass sells to Andretti which is already going around as a rumour for quite some time.

That was a lot of the problem with the Haas team because it was all about Steiner and not the team, Steiner should have been fired long ago, he failed to deliver in every way he could, the team continued on a down hill slide under Steiner.

@@NaskaAlbertoENG Personally, I believe Gene is in the wrong, for years now, Geunther among others in the team have asked Gene to invest more, so they could be competitive, yet Gene would spend the bare minimum to keep the team afloat and tell them to find the remaining budget for themselves. The fact that the team had to sacrifice their 2021 season just to be barely competitive in 2022 and the Money gram deal not even getting them to within 10m of the budget is testament that Gene is unwilling and admittedly undeserving of a team in F1.

Gunther Steiner is gone because he failed to deliver, then his NetFlex stunt was all about Steiner not the team, the truth is Steiner should have been fired a long time ago.
