@@soxpeewee so, there are a shit ton of fonts out there. like COUNTLESS fonts. and many companies, brands, etc, will use a specific one, often using different ones for different intents. you have to specifically go out of your way to change the font in the text editor TO THAT SPECIFIC ONE or even download it if it's not one available in a text editor. not only that, but if it's not a fairly common font, you have to go out of your way to figure out what font was used and where to get it from again, if it's not in a text editor

Like they said, if the try guys get sued, the company will have no money and all the people who work for them will have no money. I know we want them to talk about it. But they aren't free like us. They aren't our neighbourhood friends who can just cry out everything in front of us. Keith couldn't even tell anything to his staff for the first few days until the lawyers allowed him to. Otherwise, he's just opening himself up to lawsuits from Alex and even Ned. Alex can sue for harassment and drag them even if she's was consensually in it.

My heart breaks for the three remaining. Not only losing a business partner, but losing a friend of eight years. Keith having to lie at his show, telling fans that everyone was doing well when he knew that was going to be the last time people would view them as the original Try Guys. All of them being so scared that people won’t support them anymore. How incredibly difficult and stressful it is to navigate this legal process, knowing if they make any misstep they will be sued. Zach saying he has not been able to emotionally process this. The quote from Keith sums it up, “fearful that this had decimated everything.”

Him having a "power dynamic" does not exonerate her. I was an Office clerk in an HR department and when I felt like one of the business partners was flirting with me, I gave him the cold shoulder and he backed off. She could have done the same thing. I think people are misconstruing their omission of Alex to mean they are siding with her. It shows how little people commenting understand these guys. They do not like or want drama. The only time they mention Ned is when they have to. They have not insulted Ned or let their true feelings be known beyond subtle mentions of font usage, for example. So why would they choose to discuss Alex when they don’t have to? They have so many feelings we will never know. And I’m glad. The moral issue of cheating is not why they’re discussing this. It’s the legal and pragmatic issues that are making them mention Ned’s name. They literally called it a workplace violation, not that he’s a cheater and that’s immoral and he’s wholly responsible. Besides that you can tell they just want to move forward. YB has unfollowed Alex. Clearly they aren’t on her side. The internet just craves punishment to satisfy their entitlement and I’m so glad the Try Guys aren’t giving it to them. Ask yourselves why beyond the internet knowing Alex, someone we don’t know, is a cheater… you crave more? Her DMs are probably filled with death threats and she’ll be known as a home wrecker. Contrary to modern culture, the internet should not perform as a recourse to public hangings.

i know from witnessing a similar workplace conflict that she could sue if they fired her too which is probably why they haven’t. idk why she would want to continue working there with the stained reputation and the awkwardness but who knows.

SHOUT IT LOUDER TO THE PEOPLE IN THE BACK. This has clearly been (and even stated) that this is a traumatic experience for the parties involved. They've done everything they could legally wise, and has been especially gracious about it. They COULD just do this quietly and never shed light about the situation to their viewers but they did. Now they want to move on from this, and as fans we should respect their decision and follow suit.

Thing is people keep talking about him cheating and him being fired is way too harsh, but the issue isn't just that he cheated its that his entire identity was thrown out the window it's like the vegan teacher being found kicking a cat through the street whilst eating a turkey leg.
@stxrryd
@stxrryd Жыл бұрын
The issue was that he dated someone with a lower rank in the company. That’s against many companies’ code of conduct and is grounds for discrimination and unfair treatment in the workplace. It’s flat out a workplace violation and they all made that rule. He would have gotten fired even if he didn’t have a wife.

There were more than "several" people affected by Ned. There are many people who work for the company, or who are affiliated with it participating videos, and ALL of them, and their families, could be affected. This impact is huge, as per Keith's description. He talked about his band possibly being hurt by it, and they aren't employees. These types of things have a long and far reach.

There's a video where one of the guys misspeaks that a workplace relationship scandal is an HR nightmare. They had accidentally said PR, and Ned corrected them and said that it could be a big PR win (jokingly)... I actually think he was right. The remaining guys may be afraid about what the public will think- but I think the circumstance grew their audience, and made people love the three of them more. It's really going to only be a career lose for Ned and possibly Alex... rightly so. Those who liked the try guys love them now, those who loved the try guys love them more, and those who weren't aware have now been introduced. I know it's a teeny tiny Silver lining, but the way they handled this scandal showed their character... It's just too bad that Ned's character was demonstrated by creating this scandal.

It's such a sad situation for all involved. It is truly a good example of one person's selfish actions having unbelievable ramifications on an entire group of people. For Ned, this was the 'sliding doors' moment of his life. Also if you guys haven't seen the movie sliding doors, please watch it, it's a great film. The theme being how one decision can alter the course of your life and the lives of others. The try guys dealt with this problem the best way they could have.
