Turning Point is a great film noir from 1952 starring the legendary actors, Holden & O’Brien who are going after organized crime. Ed Begley as the crime boss is the incarnate of evil. Even bad guy character actor, Neville Brand makes an appearance as a gunman who shoots one of the lead actors. The nighttime sequence of the tenement fire, with families screaming in the midst of the conflagration and scores of charred bodies littering the landscape is one of the more unsettling scenes in film noir. @Uswesi1527.....Yes, Holden IS superb as 'Pike Bishop' in the Wild Bunch. But by far his best performance is as 'Joe Gillis' in Sunset Boulevard

What A suspenseful and twisted plot. Father and son. Best childhood friends, and A beautiful Woman who adds the right touch. Nothing like a good Noir made in black and white.

Extremely real not only a Classic Story but Written and Kneaded So Cautiously as well as Beautiful Ways that I thought the writer must be some detective renowned story writer, no way to Criticize about Casting they were fabulous, recommended for watch ❤❤❤

شكرا لعرض هذا الفلم الجيد والجقيقه هي رساله او تشخيص لنظم ما يسمى الديمقراطيه والتي يحير الكثرين للمقارنه بين الديمقراطيه والدكتاتوريه في بعض دول الناميه والكل لها عصابات المافيه كما تسمى في عالم الجريمه ولكن نقطه اريد اطرحها هو الكم من الافلام تعرض بدون مقدمه اي تايتل مثل هذه افلام هي تراث لهوليود انتج في حينها وافلام اليوم هي امتداد تلك الافلام الجميله التي لا تكرروجيل الحالي لا يعرفون عمالقة هوليود القدماء المفروض يكون التايتل مبرمج في العرض لكي يكون المشاهد على درايه بتراث هوليود ولا ننسى مقدمه الموسيقيه فارجو الانتباه ولكم الشكر

How wonderful those days were, men in lovely suits with polished shoes and trilby hats…ladies in lovely dresses or suits , skirts below the knee and high heel shoes. x I had never heard the f word….didn’t know it existed ….Ho! I lived in that world. It was not paradise. Children taught to hide under desks if an atom bomb exploded. Polio and iron lung machines. Six hundred million Chinese could possibly attack the country. Lynchings and crooked politicians and police just like always.

If cutting off the head credits is an attempt to avoid the copyright police, it won't work. It's also disrespectful to the filmmakers and viewers - and if that's not enough, it's also stupid.

Where is the date of this picture? They leave out way to much information about the picture! As soon as I write this I'm getting of of this picture! I don't like sites that leave out pertinent information about the film! It cheaped the whole move into something cheap and unworthy of the film! Or they're just plain lazy and shouldn't be involved with motion pictures in any capacity whatsoever!

I understand your frustration but your problem is easy to overcome, the movie "Turning Point" was released in 1952 starring William Holden, Edmond O'Brien and Alexis Smith maybe there is a reason, maybe they can show the movie without credits, it might be a legal thing, copyright etc but don't cut off your nose to spite your face, just enjoy the movie, I think you will find it was worth your time

I hope I never see another thing from them. I am starting a list of all the click-bait and disrespectful cretins like this, and keeping it displayed so I can check it before I watch anything on YT. THUMBS DOWN! Because DDF: Movie Day chose to disrespect this film and the viewers by covering part of the final scene of this film with promos for other films, I have instructed YT not to recommend this channel to me. And to be sure I miss anything from these philistines, I am starting my own list to keep on display so I don't make this mistake again. I do not understand why they do this, when they could wait a second or two to show their recommendations without disrespecting the current film.

It's not a free movie. Internet access costs money. The filmmakers spent a lot of money on the and it's disrespectful to change it. But all I really want to know is why some channels cut off the head credits. I've asked this simple question on a number of channels, but all I get is a load of whining for an answer. The question once again: what's the reason for cutting off head credits? Thanks in advance for a coherent answer.

It is briefly annoying but Im grateful for the film. Make up your own title, eg "The Dirty Bunch", or search thru film lists of the stars. Get stoned w/a pineapple marguerita and get into a stylish, hard-hitting film noir with a rocket of a plot.
