Thank you so much! Haha yeah, Prague is insanely crowded so I tried to get to most of the sites before 7am. Although on the weekends, it doesn't matter what time you wake up because there are people still up and partying at 5 or 6am😅Not sure if there's any other clock in the world that attracts this many people but I know it's the oldest "working" clock in the world so maybe there are older clocks than this one but not working?

@@travelpockets Haha that's true about the weekends. We got a really late flight over there from London and it was basically like a party on the plane too 😂I guess Big Ben has a famous clock face, but you never get that many people standing in front of it!

Prague was so beautiful! Is there a strawberry fields in Central Park? Believe it or not, out of all the times I've been to NYC, I have never been to Central Park😓

Travel Pockets I’ve been to NYC three times although it was years ago. Central Park is fantastic. Strawberry Fields is a nice interesting piece of it dedicated to John Lennon. It’s across from the Dakota building where he lived. Thanks for another wonderful video!

Hahaha those elevators actually aren't that scary but I can see how it can be dangerous. Yes, Prague has so many beautiful sites!

These elevators from 1st half of 20th century had already plenty of safety features and another were installed later, it can't cut off your leg or something, there are safety buttons in ceiling and when you put something there, it will stop and it can't cut your leg because floor in front of cabin is foldable, you can move it up so if you are going up with your leg outside of cabin, it will just lift up the floor in case of other safety buttons didn't work and it was still going. On other side when you are going up, there is button with long run (it's that part which looks like railing in upper part of cabin) and when it hits your leg, it will be pressed up which stops elevator again and because of that button has long run, it will stop in time to not cut off your leg. It's more safe than you think. There were some accidents with dogs on rope or persons transporting big things and that's why it's strictly banned to enter with such things or with animals. BTW, you can find such elevators pretty much everywhere in Europe, we just like to keep our history instead of removing it, most of that buildings have even modern elevators, so you can choose what you want to use. I was always confused why so many (especially Americans) think that such elevators are scary, I thought they must have them in USA too, but someone told me that they don't have them, they invented modern like elevators sooner because of skyscrappers. The biggest number of operable "pater noster lifts" are probably in Czechia, Slovakia, Poland, Austria and Germany, I heard that they have plenty of them even in Switzerland, so it could be something more common for central european region and especially countries of former habsburg empire and HRE.

I wish I had time to do neighboring cities, but I had other plans... I hope to return someday tho. And yes, it's a little scary right now with the pandemic so fingers crossed it gets better sooner rather than later!

You can do it now, covid is slowly returning, but there are still no restrictions and today governemnt don't want to do another lockdowns until only few people with covid end in hospital, most of poeple now have only mild symptoms, but who knows, it could change in only 1 month. I also prefer traveling in september or october, but that's time when most of covid restrictions are adopted again, it cought me in Croatia and in Vienna, so it's probably better to travel in summer in this time because politics are always waiting with restrictions, they don't want to bother people when they have vacation and kids holidays in july and august.
