I have a bamboo shrimp around a year old but it’s only about 1.5 inches I just hope mine grows over time instead of getting to max size and no bigger within 6months to a year I just hope 😂😂😂

i just got a bamboo shrimp about on thursday. I drip acclimated him for 4 hours. Hes been doing well, feeding etc. However he is sooo skiddish. He will run away and hide if i come near the tank, turn the light on, an ammano shrimp is near him. Or even when I tried to feed him. He ran away at the sight of ground up fish flakes heading toward him!. I have flow in the tank but instead of fanning that he prefers to hide under the sponge filter in the bottom corner of the tank. Is this normal behavior? I just want him to be happy in his new home.

Yeah that’s typical for new arrivals to the tank. They do better in groups it makes them feel more confident. You can have them by themselves however it will take them a little bit to get used to there new home
