That’s the heads I have on car I have the Ls next aluminum block from dart I got a few years ago and it came with the dart pro ones I had them cnc ported from Rhs and tkm done the machine work I run t&d rockers titanium valves smith brother tool steel push rods called crank mgp rods wiseco pistons melling oil pump I’ve only refreshed the engine ones in 3 years I’m waiting on rods now for it but it’s really a bullet proof design with those parts I’ve ran up to 60 pounds of boost multiple times. No problems on engines part anyways I’ve broke a rear end a transmission twice a throttle body by the way Wilson throttle body’s are the only way to go when running high boost number and big horsepower and yes people that’s the recipe for big power I want give out know engine dimensions valve sizes or cam specs talk to your engine builder. Or go to a good one like tkm.

I wish I knew more about heads as I plan for my 427 build. I already have my block and Plazmaman Intake, but I'm on the fence as to the head options. The Dart Pro-1 285/12º seems like a good option for NA or Boost application; with fewer fitment issues than some others'.

The darts look good. No reason to bash them. But the gentleman has mistaken. Edelbrock LSR is also hip'd and would give the dart a real run for it's money. Also will flow the same or better with a smaller valve.

Wow... these will compete with Higgins/CHI headed Fords

Design is similar. I looked up the spec sheet, they are all the way up there with the Kaase/CHI 400+ CFM heads. Here are the peak flow numbers: Flow, Intake: 456 cfm @ 1.000” lift on Superflow 1020 Flow, Exhaust: 316 cfm @ 1.000” lift on Superflow 1020 newdart.wpenginepowered.com/wp-content/uploads/10%C2%B0-LS-Race-Series-Cylinder-Head-H69.pdf

If I put a long stroke instead of a short stroke will it lose potential at high rpms like 9k or 10k rpms?

NEED HELP! How do you tighten the nuts on the studs from the heads going into the block by the lifters? Nut is 12 point and its too close to block to get any wrench socket box-end on it! Don't want to loose nut in motor later on. HELP

Do you have to use a certain engine block with these heads?
@usaperformanceparts56236 жыл бұрын
Hi, you have to use at least a 4.125" bore block. We normally use the Dart LS Next Block with these heads. Thanks! 704-397-7979

That would make a great dirt late model head

These sure look a lot like a CHI Cleveland Ford. If they work like the CHI you have a winner.

I know they use Cleveland mains caps on some aftermarket blocks
