The surge brakes on your trailer should release or "reverse lock out" if there is voltage in the 5th pin coming from your truck. If you are having trouble in reverse it may be a wiring issue.

Hi mate, No unfortunately it’s a mechanical hitch so it requires a silly metal tab (was not on trailer) that you stick into it to stop the trailer pushing back. Dealer showed me when I dropped it back off, the trailer we had was missing. Either way stupid American design. In Australia we have a flip over latch that’s bomb proof on our hitches.

Sucks that the pricing is so high over there. Pricing on these is a lot more competitive over here in the states. Found your videos from the Ranger Raptor content, but been enjoying it all!

⁠ USA I’ll live in Texas there are a few dealers offering them for 28,000 19 foot 170 hp but 114,00 Australian is 73,000 USA I feel for you that is way too much i think 70,000 Australian would be a little more reasonable

Yeah seen these at my local lakes. Sorry price is so inflated it's a joke to me. No way are these things worth $100K. No effing way will I ever pay that kinda price. It's a fad, like the new broncos... no way worth what they charge.
