This is exactly me in my 60s! I hope I have the same energy as you! Sampling has gone whole another level in recent years... I remember I was looking for this thing about 4-5 yr ago but couldn't find one but now everyone is talking about it. Great vid!

This is amazing. I have iris 2 and have never really had the time nor confidence to deep dive the learning curve. I love how you just do something crazy and through that teach so much.

This is brilliant!! I spend so much time concerned over whether my samples are "good enough". This clearly shows that thinking "outside of the box :)" can work just as well. Looking forward to part 2. Thanks, Guy.

This is great! Really cool to see you working this way and it’s making me wonder what interesting items I have lying around that I could turn into virtual instruments in the same way. I really enjoyed the vlog section too, somehow I’m building a mental image that it’s just what British composers do when they’re out and about. If you haven’t finished part 2 already maybe you could cheat a bit and use sounds from the box for percussion?

Part 2 will be up tomorrow! Box sounds are interesting. I even tried the little sticky label. Not quite so good

I've recently discovered the beauty of creating unique organic sounds from samples. It really is amazing what characterful sounds can be obtained with a little effort.

I’m not so familiar with sample, and I own the Iris 2 that I got it when I bought another plugin. Is really unbelievable the complex sounds you can create with this. Thanks always to share your knowledge. Absolutely genius! :))
