Today I was faced with the challenge of relocating a light switch to an adjacent wall without chasing any walls out!
This is a step by step guide on how to do this.

For people who don't mind using an app for some stuff the advantages of wireless switches are great. I originally installed some in my house as daughter used to leave lights on all the time but I could turn them all off while she was at school & I was at work 😊 also things like having outside sensor lights turn on & off with sunrise/sunset etc. I like that your videos are real world situations & getting over things, keep up the great content.

if these videos had voice overs only id still watch every single one......keep going 100%....honest great work.......one suggestion the audio from the mic could be a littttttle louder...hopefully new ones better

Love Quinetic switches. Could have replaced the switch with a combined switch receiver and saved some time and effort.

I use the cheap Chinese version. The switch uses double sided tape so can be stuck anywhere. I’ve used them all over the house and garden for over a year with no issues. They are mega cheap. Only drawback you have to allow 2 weeks for delivery

I get all sorts of work buddy, mainly car charging and fill in time with other electrical jobs

Only works if the switch is fed via live and neutral

Couldn't you have just used quinectics 2 way switch converter and left the original switch in

I don't think any of the smart switches are available as a two way, it's all done in software via the app (obviously not trying to teach you to suck eggs) I remember having some head scratch moments when I setup my hall & landing smart switches so they worked the same way as traditional switches. Was the when this switch is on turn that switch off routines etc LOL so when turning landing light off from upstairs it didn't leave the hallway landing light switch led still turned on. My mate writes building control system software & it took him a few minutes to get his head round how it was done in software rather than switch live etc 🤣

WATCH OTHER YOU TUBE CHANNELS. I KNOW YOUR A DECENT CARING PERSON.I WATCHED ONE OF JORDONS VIDEO,S WERE HE WORKED ON A OLD COUPLES HOUSE. THE HOUSE IS A NIGHTMARE AND AS A DIYER IM HORRIFIED AT THE CONDITION OF THE ELECTRICS. I DONT KNOW HOW HE CAN WALK AWAY. COULD YOU NOT SPEAK TO OTHER KZfaqRS AND SPONSORS AND GET THIS SORTED. COULD YOU NOT DO A DIY SOS. IT WOULD MAKE A GREAT SERIES OF VIDEO,S. GIVING SOMETHING BACK. Imagine if the house burnt down. Could a fund me type account be opened. I’m far from being well off but I’m happy to contribute £100. Golf KZfaqrs did a golf day for postrate cancer which was fab. If jordon is to much up his own arse to sort it I’m sure you could sort it and rub his nose in it. I’m in Scotland but could attend but as a DIYer I could be a labourer or just keeping you hydrated in coffee, Pringles etc etc

It’s a great idea and I would be up for it, however getting a response from artisan is impossible so there is no way I could find out where the job was etc
