Solid work! I found your channel while building a box for ice fishing to get ideas on wiring.

I followed your video to build a power box. I use it every time I go ice fishing. I run my Lowrance 7 elite HDI depth finder for the whole day. Awesome little box and I built myself with your video.

I made a power box thanks to you. I use it to run my ice house the fan, fish finder, lights, charging my phone, and speakers. Then I use it to run my 12v wench to get my ice house up on the shore. You made it so easy to follow along and listed all the items needed to make it. Thank you

I've been running this adapter for 2 years now. Even bought my brother one since it works so good. Just make sure the adapter has low voltage protection on it (Some don't)

2 issues I’ve found with these adapters: 1. May or may not have low voltage protection. Battery will be damaged if drained. 2. May or may not drain battery if connected even if there is no load/other device connected

Meanwhile there is the DCB094K-QW which offer not only USB-C (up to 100 W) and USB-A output but can also charge the battery via USB-C. And it even charges with only 5 V USB. Big game changer for me. I don’t need a lot of those batteries so I can easily recharge them in the car via USB no matter how long it takes. With a big USB-C adapter it charges the 18 V battery with up to around 5 A.

Great info! What kind of run time have you gotten from these batteries, have you done any comparisons on the different amp hour models verse the conventional batteries that have been used?
