I wonder, how many things can give you block at the same time for the same action? I can think of TTTH, ornamental fan, after image, feel no pain(the attack exhausts), abacus(it also draws lol)

@@shikikan482 Feel No Pain is the main card I would use. Second wind also gives multiple instances of blocks. Other synergies are dodge and roll (over 2 turns), Horn Cleat/ Captain's Wheel, Frost orbs and evoking Frost Orbs (you get a slot from Prismatic Shard) and Nirvana with a lot of scrying.

if you have a lot of >1 cost cards, its statistically always good because the average costs it generates is 1.5 ironclad has a lot of 2+ cost cards which makes snecko an incredibly good pick usually

It's particularly good with corruption since you have guaranteed 0 cost skills. Of all the classes, it's definitely best on ironclad.

People really push the cost efficiency here, but it's not that simple. It's good if your deck has a lot of cards with powerful effects. Which usually cost 2 or more, but you shouldn't focus on the cost alone. An example of a card that only costs 1 but has a strong effect is power through, with the right synergies you take it with snecko even though it's only 1 cost. Basically what it boils down to, if you're considering to pick up snecko eye, look at your deck, if it has a lot of cards with really strong effects, take it. If you're picking up a card after you took snecko eye, ignore the cost of the card, only think about the effect. You also never take snecko with runic pyramid.

No one has mentioned this part of the equation yet: cards with a higher energy cost are usually more impactful. Snecko eye lets you get away with exclusively picking these sorts of cards. Compare strike to bludgeon for example, or defend to impervious or flame barrier. So even if your deck, at the end of the act , isn't amazing with snecko eye, it might still be worth it to pick snecko because you will get to choose higher value cards in the future, thus making your deck stronger. In short: snecko eye often good.

Another thing to add is, because you're drawing extra, the average card cost may be 1.5, but there's enough cards to pick from where you'll usually pick cheaper ones, so even with a lot of low costs you don't wind up spending much more energy (since you'll just play the cheap ones)
