All they need to do is make Leroys HRM 4 1+2 hit confirmable and Leroy will be as strong as the other characters. If they make it hit confirmable then players will respect Hermit more. The problem is that the HRM 4 check is not scary enough. #buffLeroy

I'm very new to Leroy and Tekken, for me Hermit f1 is the "oh fuck I'm accidentally in hermit get me out of this stance without getting punish combo'd for 50%" button

In my opinion hermit f+1 is a great move the range is good and its +15 on hit and safe on block. Theres a lot of frame traps you can do with +15.

Thanks for the guide, i learnt a lot! I am finding myself getting blown up a lot out of hermit by rage arts or heat smashes. There doesnt seem to be no natural defense from these moves out of hermit, is there any advice you can offer?

BTW you can use heat smash after a successful parry aswell

A good call when exiting Hermit by comboing into something that sends them far away, since neutral is reset, you can call Sugar as a checkk, a risky move but profitable if the opponent doesnt have their guard up. Tournaments obviously won't do well with this, since all you need to do to punish it is run up on Leroy and Tournament pros DEFINITELY know the matchups to be able to do that easily, but in regular Ranked/Casuals you can use it if your opponent is playing more of a defensive style rather than pressuring you constantly. Hermit can also be used as a mixup and pressure check with Back 2 + 34 (Hermit's Activation) since it cancels out the kick and sets you in hermit, it's great when someone is distancing themselves and looking to rush in, you can pressure check with it to keep em at bay and when they see you in Hermit (if you delay and just stand in Hermit for a few frames) they might think they are safe and you can punish with 4 into 1-2 for example and run up for pressure. Great video! Helps me keep up with what I need for Leroy since I'm new to Tekken entirely and he's been the pick for me.

Hermit f1 counterhit was a launcher in the beta. Idek why they decided to remove it when the game dropped. It was my way to stop people from mashing when you transitioned to Hermit stance on hit.

What move is the best way to get into hermit?

Gotta watch for people grabbing you out of Hermit and getting a guaranteed throw
