You could use an embossing folder on the individual pieces before you glue the vase together to get a textured look to the vase as well.

Second comment! Sorry that I always comment so early on! That turned out so really beautiful!! I wonder if we could make the flowers without dies too? I may look around for it. The roses will be easy, but the Gerbera daisies may be harder with the center but I bet we could do it….Can you tell that I just got home from the store and I’m in sticker shock at how expensive everything is!
