Tech and Specs from the Reflex Racing website:
New in the Gen 2 cars is:
-Updated Molded A-Arms with less slop and dedicated Left/Right Arms
-Molded U Shaped Side Links for more durability and extra clearance around battery Area
-Molded Center Pivot for more Durability
-30g Stainless Steel Chassis with Hard Coating for more durability, quality and performance vs brass
-All New Ultra Low CG Motor Mount for increased corner speed, lighter weight and more precise ride height adjustment. Also allows virtually any motor in the industry to be a drop in to the mounting position. Allows gear adjustment from 9T-17T Pinions.
-Newly Released V2 Differential with thrust bearing and aluminum dust cover compatible spur gear.
-Revised Front Bulkhead which now has static 2 degrees of caster and no interference with upper or lower arms.
-Revised hardware throughout.
-Reflex Racing Speed Wheels Included

Nice review. Finally figured out why my glr was spinning out. Turns out I had too many shims in between the rear pod and chassis.

Hey man I've really been enjoying your videos on 1/28 stuff. For someone getting into it more what would you suggest for a super stock chassis? I'm running a box stock class setup right now. One of my buddies has a GLR GT that he just built and the other just ordered a RX28, whatever the newest one is. Can I look used or should I stick to a new chassis to avoid gremlins? No anyone selling one or a good place to look? Any help would be appreciated but no stress!

If you're looking for something new I'd go with the rx28 gen2 as it's the fastest kid on the block right now. The Nexx Spectre is pretty good too if you don't feel like building. The new Atomic MRZ with the Simple front end is also good but it takes some dialing in.

What offset wheels do you use for the Gen 2 and what body?

I'm running it in Super Stock so the jomu body and reflex racing 0 8.5 fronts and 3 11mm rear, marka RR 10 in the back and pn ks-m medium up front.

I’m getting the same battery for my 1st gen RX28. Do those batteries fit right in For the 1st Gen RX28? or you have to shave the battery mount to make them fit?

Is this the gen 2 se?

No the gen2 is separate from the SE. The SE comes with the tub chassis. If you already have a SE you can buy the upgrade kit to get the new pod and front end I think.

There is an SE Gen2 now. Don't own one but I hear it's great in mod.
