i think that the bench in your room takes up a lot of space that could be used for a bigger desk to suit your needs. maybe switching it out for a chair in the corner that your current vanity is in now and then placing the desk there? or maybe moving the bench to the end of your bed and moving the desk to the space the bench was in. just kinda thinking out loud :)
