Great video Kevin, Thanks! The drum character portion of the plugin utilizes two separate equalizers, the first dynamically tracks the initial attack while the second dynamically tracks the tail.

The left EQ does the attack, the right one the tail, depending on the (length) settings of A and T in the sample timeline below. I missed that in your description but maybe it's a language thing- no native english speaker here...

I'll admit, I was still playing around on it... I understand it much better now. Did you see the 808 video. I had more of a grasp on it then. thanks for the comment Stephan
