this is absolutely the best oem+ street/track s2k ive ever seen. the amount of detail and time put into the car to maintain its oem essence while giving a refresh/upgrade is unlike any other s2k's ive seen.

Yes, the trimming of plastics for the rollbar at 10:45 looks amazing and is something I'd love to do on my S2000 as well. The closest I've gotten to doing something like that was trimming both fender liners and undertrays near the front bumper for custom intercooler piping. A pain in the ass to do, but life-long satisfaction in my amateur craftsmanship haha

I've owned my '06 since new, used to hit some travck days & autocross and am finally looking to get back into it. It's funny, as I ended buying this car as I'd retired from roadracing in the AMA Formula 2 (back when men were men, and we were running the 2-stroke GP bikes with zero rider assists....you were punished early and often for those expeditions to that venerable 'limit'...LOL) series and noticed that R&T or similar had listed that it was the closest experience to a motorcycle on 4 wheels. As a bonus it also had to be driven hard as to keep it into the 'power band' as we 2-smokers would call it. I received one of the first Kraftwerks kits shipped from Oscar Jackson Jr around '08 I believe, and have been a forced induction ho ever since. People just don't understand the true connection and driver experience one gets whilst wringing one of these things out. And ..you know...since...I was 'going to leave it all stock and all that'....psh! Talk about wallet pain, haha! Supercharger...hardtop.....Brembo GTs up font...KW V3s (tein Flex for supple street)...OZ 3pc wheels...sway bars....etc etc etc. Sooooo....what I wanted to ask was.....you wouldn't happen to have any specs on those cuts for that roll hoop would you? 🙂. You think EXACTLY as I do....I want the race bits with the streetability and minimalizing any hacking of bits off of the car. LOVE LOVE LOVE the hoop mods.....I'm down to mimic that ASAP. Thanks for the vid! I'll definitely be checking out your others. I think my girl is getting time for a paint refresh as well.....

Beautiful S2K, brada. I just bought a red 04 S2K w/ only 60k miles. Slowly building it. I just received my 17x8 +45 Konig Hypergram wheels in gray. They're currently in the shop being powder coated Highland Bronze. I got the tires waiting for me at the tire shop, Falken Azenis rt660, 245/40/17. I should have both installed in a week. Then my FA 500 coilovers come mid November! After those are installed, it's just little things to make the car look sweet...like paint correction, interior mods, a better muffler and possibly that tire flap that you have. Great idea btw.Can't wait til the coilovers are installed and the car is dropped an inch or 2!

As someone who just bought an s2000 I appreciate this OEM+ build!!! I too want to add wheels and tires with fender rolling. Idk if I will do much track driving with my s2000 at this time but it is nice to see what is possible with that roll bar.

Apart from the wheels that are not to my taste, love what you did to your S2000, the attention to detail, time and money invested in this car is nice to see. Congratulations.

I have not seen the whole video yet, but what a CLEAN OEMplus S2000😍 I also have a red S2000, year 2002. Almost 190000kms on it. Your brakes are so clean and the rollbar is fitted awesome!!!

Hi Naus, love all your videos! You CR wing install video helped me big time, after seeing your setup I am set on getting a oil cooler and a Koyo Rad. However, I don't see baffled oil pan on your list, do you have it? Upon my research I got mixed reviews for them, some say you need them some say just top off often then your good. What are your thoughts on this?

on a scale of 1-10 this car is a major. major. major. go. The trimming you did to fit the oem parts around the roll bar is amazing, great work. How much of a difference do you think the driver seat makes with the padding in for daily driving? I'm looking for a solution to the height problem and I don't think the back year racing seat lowering solution will solve it. Back yard racing claims 3/4in. (20mm) seat drop.

nice car, did you have to cut the OEM grill in the bumper in order to fit the js racing tow hook?

Should put a mesh on the brake ducts for the street at least it'll stop leaves and rocks getting in if the mesh holes are sized right should still get reasonable air flow.

Any chance you can share the 3D print file for those brake vents 😬. Love that you 3D designed and printed a lot of the stuff 👌.

Excellent. I'm totally on board with keeping the OEM look and feel as much as possible. I don't track my '07 so many of the mods you've done wouldn't be necessary, but I do wonder whether an oil catch can would be a good idea. Also, on a strictly street car the CR type wing would probably be superfluous except for looks. Your thoughts?

I have 4 kids under 10 so I definitely didn't bother putting the interior plastics on the roll hopp back!... but my car definitely wasn't as nice as yours to begin with so I didn't feel bad about it.
