Antonio has now linked himself financially in an official way with Roxanne with that purchase of the car wash. He's allowing Roxanne to transform him into the worker that she wants. James definitely needs therapy. It's good that Ryann's family accepts him -- sometimes that is really helpful to someone whose own family relationships are dysfunctional. The show needs to have a zero tolerance policy for physical abuse -- which is what the mush to the face was. I would have asked Brian if Lisa has put her hands on him again (though that's not the bar, since many people are verbally/emotionally violent). I would have asked Lisa why is does not want to/is unable to apologize to Riah. When someone gives you that opportunity for something in which you were clearly wrong - APOLOGIZE. Lisa looked so bad.

Vanessa and Nick always look like they have been fighting before. It was worse on one of the earlier episodes. I mean they are in therapy. I hope it's helpful as they have 3 or 4 kids. Nick never looks happy though and from her comments Vanessa has a lot of complaints about him. I didn't have a problem with Trey keeping quiet. Lisa is classless. The last thing I wanted to see is the only two Black couples on the show brawling and Lisa may have taken it there if anyone else had gotten involved. What I don't seem to understand is why she even got with him. She talks endlessly about how he's not up to par financially and how he's not ambitious or goal oriented. Trey is an engineer and from a family in which his parents have been happily married for a long time. Re her being trapped though -- I mean Trey and Ryann were compatible and you got the sense that even with kids in the suburbs they would have had lots of fun together. So it's not like that kind of life necessarily equals unhappiness -- I'm just not sure if Riah has experience enough to think of it.@@CharisMaggieTV

Riah wants to grow as a person and especially wants to grow a career, its a lot easier to do that in a city than in the suburbs, speaking from experience. I come from the same type of path as Trey and still agree that Riah has no business get married right now and what she wants is valid and makes a lot of sense

I thought Riya was treated like trash on this show. Nobody did her right. Trey didn't stand up for her the way he should have. I think she's really young and immature (don't mean that in a bad way) and needs to grow A LOT on her own. She was like a deer in headlights. I hope this experience doesn't make her bitter because she and her sister seem like nice people.

Roxanne is doing just fine. She's not day to day unhappy the way Antonio is. Her thing is pushing him to be her ideal which would be someone who waits on her hand and foot and makes money and works much of the time. It is Antonio who needs to wake up somehow and leave her as well as get some therapy and supports -- because right now he does not think he can do better and probably also doesn't think much of himself.

But Riah doesn't seem happy. The way that Trey. was looking at Ryann when she seemed so excited about James getting used to being in a house and with a family...seemed like longing for Riah to show event a bit of excitement about the future and some of the things that HE wants - which was that family life.
