I'm so happy that I found your channel. I absolutely adore you and I love your videos and how you make older ladies feel. I have an incurable spinal problem, which is not externally obvious but I have lost so much mobility. I had to stop working in 2005, which was devastating to me. My career was part of my identity and I became very depressed and stopped taking care of my skin and discontinued using make up. I rarely left the house so why bother? You have changed my life. You have made me feel like I haven't lost my looks, they have just changed. I've started using some of the products you've recommended and I have fun playing with my makeup again. I am so greatful to you for offering advice and sincerely believing that we can be beautiful whatever our age. Thanks so much for bringing me back to a place that I gave up on seventeen years ago. I will definitely continue to watch every video that you produce. You are my hero. Thanks again for being so fabulous and encouraging we older ladies (I'm 63) to take care of ourselves and feel beautiful always. ❤️

Susan Dale, your story sounds so much like mine, having spinal damage on the inside that nobody sees yet your in so much pain, makeup for me is my outlet and the whole process of getting ready to go out when in reality I could just stay home locked away and not go out, it forces me to put myself together even if it’s just for a short time going out because that’s all I can manage to do. @@susandale5767 Your Welcome 🙏🏻, mornings are usually my best time of day to go out because by the end of the day the pain in my back is so bad that I can hardly move around, I only go out a couple of times a week and sometimes one day over the weekend my hubby and I will go out for brunch when he’s home, he works away most of the time with work and I’m home alone. I just turned 49 at the end of June. I first saw you on Tik Tok in your "I'm back!" Video, which I now know was you embracing your grey hair, which is Gorgeous! Absolutely gorgeous! I then got an invite to subscribe to your KZfaq CH. Thank you so very, very much! I can't say enough about how I have benefitted from your videos, but more importantly how I have been blessed by you being authenticly you! Thank you for being a true light! I had been really struggling ro the point of insecurity and of bit of depression at times, as well as isolating more than usual out of feeling self-concious about how I looked. I was far from successfully coping, let alone embracing aging as a positive thing, especially with the journey aging was taking me on: hormonal changes, mood changes, health issues worsening or arising that I never had before, but especially changes in my body, face and skin. Your videos are so informative and honestly are therapeutic. Nikol, this is one of THE best looks you’ve ever created: really breathtaking!! I’ve been using the L’Oréal lash primer since it first came out. I’m 71 & hypothyroid so my eyebrows are very thin. (They’re a little better since listening to you tell us not to pull any of them out!) Anyway, I don’t like a drawn eyebrow and brow gels are wimpy, so I use the primer to coat my brows (brushing upward) then go over them with L’Oréal volumizing mascara in brown-black. It took quite some time to get the feel of it all, but by now I end up with a pretty decent brow! You’re probably mortified, but it works! Thank you for all the wonderful tips & advice. I’ve taken a new interest in me and am entering yet another new chapter! Hugs, 🙏💕🌹

F. E. Parker Genius! I’ve thought about using straight up mascara on my brows but never think to purchase a brown mascara when I’m at the store! I have used the primer in my brows! It works great to thicken the hair. I’ve just been using a brow type of mascara. I liked Benefit’s before they reformulated 3-4 years (?) ago. I tried several drug store brands before using Lancôme’s Sourcils Styler which I ended up liking for better staying power and also holds hairs in place without a clear mascara having to be applied. Thank you for the reminder of using regular mascara. Waterproof would be wonderful for my hot, humid Summers and swimming! 💖

I just love your whole message, your looks, and your products! I can't get enough of your videos. I use a Greek oil with my Gua Sha. It contains olive oil, jojoba oil, lavender oil, and vitamin E. It seems to work well. But I would like to try something specifically for mature skin, so I'll get this oil. You are so real and you've inspired me in so many ways to care about how I look at this age and how I care for my skin, and how I now apply my makeup your way... because it looks the best. I really like DHC Virgin Olive Oil. I pat it on after using my face products before I go to bed to lock everything in. It is also great after micro needling - never stings.

The oil seems like a win. I tried the Tatcha lip treatment and it made my lips crack. I contacted the company and they said that can happen with some people, so they had me send it back.

The skin is an oil loving Organ and many times when you break out it is actually cleaning out or purging. Try and oil again and stick with it for a few months and you should be amazed at the results🙌🏻🍑🧡Lisa

Thanks, Nikol! I do love oils. I use Resveratrol, an antioxidant in a lightweight oil, over my vitamin C serum and before my moisturizer, in the morning and love the added hydration. A couple nights a week I use Rosehip oil when I don’t use retinol. Like retinol, Rosehip is a vitamin A derivative but not as strong. When I do, my skin looks luminous in the morning.

Nikol, Hello, I haven’t listened in a long time, my loss. It’s good to see you again. I turned 59 in July, my skin on my face seems to have changed. It’s still clear except for my redness on cheeks and nose. I have sensitive skin and have never been exposed much to the sun because I burn so easily. I’m blue eyed with fair skin. So, I’m having a hard time with my foundation. I’ve used Charlotte Tilbury, primer and older foundation, not her new one, for several years now but it looks so dry and powdery. Could it be too old? In addition , I’ve used Visionaire serum from Lancôme and their face cleanser and moisturizers for years now. I’ve never used exfoliators? Should I be? I don’t have break outs or scaring just the irritating redness on my cheeks and nose only. Do you know what I should utilize for the redness? After listening to your KZfaq, I’m thinking about looking into what you use, the Estée Lauder Double Wear foundation. I’ve worn this before but can’t remember why I stopped using. Can you give me an opinion as a beauty expert? I’ve had medical issues over the last 12 years, at 46 I had a brain aneurysm-stroke. Now. I need a heart permanent pacemaker this week due to a low rate with a heart block. I still feel like I’m 30ish but my body says different. I just want to continue to look pretty like you. I was a critical care RN for 24 years before my brain aneurysm-stroke so I worked very hard but always kept my skincare in good condition. I used to get compliments on my nice skin. That was so nice. Nevertheless, do you think buying the Honey Grail and Double Wear would help me? I know I’m asking a lot but you are so experienced and wonderful. Nikol, I just ordered some of your products, and hope that I can manage to use it. Thank you so much for sharing these tutorials and showing us what you know! I am disabled because of Depression and Anxiety. I don’t know if anyone will read this, but I had my eyebrows tattooed 10+ years ago. I am 68. They are the wrong shape and extend too far. She didn’t make an arch. It’s just like this, turned sideways: ). All of my best friends have noticed it. One esthetician told me to have my eyebrows un-tattooed, and then get them microbladed. I live in a smaller city, and there are only two salons that do this. I am not wealthy, and I’m wondering if this is worth it. Right now, some of them are a terrible shade of green and grey. Could someone give me an opinion?

I think that would be considered an unpaid endorsement; so, how about products in general that contain the Rose Oil and the Squalane (plant-derived). Any preferences? I have dark spots, freckles and red spots in many areas, all due to only one year of excessive tanning (Both tanning booths and natural sun) and hormonal changes due to being perimenopausal. I had none of these prior. Thank you in advance.

I know you live in Florida....I hope you and yours are alright through the storm. I found you a while ago and My skin is looking much better. I just turned 60 and decided that I wanted to just up my makeup game a little bit, but most of the videos I have seen were for people who were much younger. I really want to celebrate my age...so many women around the world don't have the privilege of becoming 60. I just want to be the prettiest 60 I can be.

Hi Nikol, I was wondering if you had any tips on correcting dark circles associated with bags? My dark circles are not flat and coverable with concealer. I've tried almost everything. I recently tried the Smashbox peach color corrector. It has the smell and exact texture of lipstick, moved around, and was so cakey. Any tips would be so appreciated. I'm so self conscious of them. 😕

Honestly Nikol. If I tried every single item you review I would be in the poor house. How on earth do we know what products to buy? I started with you about four months ago but I’m honestly just lost among the products, I don’t know what is good and what isn’t anymore. It seems to get soooo repetitive after a while. 😞

I started with one product that spoke to me - and eyeshadow palette and then actually tried an eyeliner pencil and the lash primer. You don’t have to get the exact products, just something that lifts your look and your spirit. I’m here for the encouraging chat to just keep going and be your beautiful self at any age. I have an issue I can't seem to solve. Sometime when I apply my moisturizer, or serum, or firming creme, either the product or skin rolls up when applying. Seems the only time it does not happen is immediately after an aggressive exfoliation.

Hi Nikol hope you're OK and things are going well didn't you say you now live in Florida but are you OK with that crazy 🤪 hurricane 🌀 that hit if you do ... now I'm finally back home 🏡 in Vegas area but I did go see my Dad and my 92yr old Italian grandmother still looks great in Upstate NY 🗽 North Eastern area Albany/ Saratoga area I'm originally from but just came home on Late night 🌃 last week cause my Dad has cancer so had to help out drive him to his treatments he's doing OK for now he's doing the radiation treatments for now ... well love the stuff here you're always beautiful lady we are same in age pretty much ... 🙋‍♀️💞💋👝🛍💄
