My 1.7cdti have loud strange knocking noice when accelerating,but only when engine is cold,and after few kilometers that noice disappear. What that can be ?

I have the 2.0cdti and have similar issues, changed the fuel sensor no change but mecanic said my car is doing 400 bar of fuel instead of the 250 do you habe any idea???? Fuel pumps been checked, oil filters changed, egr valves checked no issues.

I replaced the whole return pipe (T) and removed air from the system, now it won't start. What could be the problem?

Dont but it for short jorneys or you will have massive issues with EGR and DPF Blockage and engine blocking with Soot and black coke. These Engines require regular maintenance as well as DPF, EGR valve and Suction Control Valve Cleaning. Otherwise a good, steady economical car for a family

Hi I’m having the same trouble with my astra 13 plate 1.7cdti when I go over a pot hole or speed bumps to fast it shuts the car off then comes back on after a few seconds and then it resets my petrol gage lower then come back to normal after a while.

Hi im having exact same issues for about 6 months now . Fault codes read p0088 and p0089. I have replaced the regulator which never solved the issue and everytime we set it to learn it would say done but the faults would not clear. Then changed the fuel rail sensor now car won't start just turns over. Any help appreciated. It's the corsa 1.7cdti a17dts 61 plate.

Trying to locate old rail sensor seems to have gone walkabout. I'm not sure what software was being used. I have now taken the car to my local vauxhall dealership they are having a look today 🤞.

It's not a vauxhall unless it's full of glitches, every model every year more problems and not piece of mind reliability either , had 2 astra and never buying another either and going out of my way to prevent others from wasting their money and time on this lemon brand , Asian cars Trump these for durability and reliability, no bull shitting no one, ,, no need to lie

Aye, my money on the surge control valve, odd they normally show lumpy idle especially when engine cold so it's more noticeable. I've not had one throw codes but changing it out solves. Definitely buy genuine (I know you will!), I tried copy and it lasted less than a year. Also, rounded hex bolts holding one I did a whole back, how would you solve as they were stuck solid and access is a pain! What do you recommend?
