To be fair, both Alaska and the Louisiana territory (to a lesser extent) were only relatively lightly inhabited by Russians and French, They were mostly just selling their claim to the lands. The United States after buying them still had to subjugate the natives and develop the land. There are virtually no signs remaining of the Russian colonization of Alaska, and apart from a few place names, the French colonization of the Louisiana territory is only shown in the much smaller land of the state of Louisiana.

This was not intentional. He misrepresents by making it appear that they were intentionally slaughtered. Furthermore it is a known fact that conquest was the law of the land for native tribes where they killed each other to obtain land long before the settlers came so they were hardly innocent. Did you know that the largest slave owner in Virginia was African American?

These people have US passports can freely move to any US state and have the same rights as us once their in one of the 50 states, but as long as they reside in their territory they're basically a colony with no voting powers.
